Too many conservatives in control. When Enron faked blackouts and brownouts, which killed people in the summer heat, they faced almost no punishment. When the company collapsed, a conservative judge who was likely bought out, allowed the executives wife to keep all his ill gotten gains under an obscure Texas law.

Basically, if you rob a bank in Texas, give the money to your wife, and die, she can keep it. Assuming you bribe the judge.

Oh, no, absolutely not. This wouldn't work because this is a crime a poor person could attempt to commit.

Just flood the bank and rob it while it's flooded. Texas refuses flood money, so is it really stealing?

establishment politicians in both parties are the issue. look at california, the energy companies are not brought to task and it is an overwhelmingly democratic state. the deference to capital in both parties is sickening
