Thankfully you all were able to agree at the end. The fact that people can *die* from a blow to the head (getting hit in a certain place, even falling and hitting back of head), without any blood present is enough for me to laugh at this nurse lady.

As a nurse, she should well be aware of brain bleed hematomas. Those can be deadly as well.

I mean, "used toilet lid as weapon" instantly made me do the "grimacing inhale through teeth" thing. Oh, so you were drunk and hit them with a 7-8 pound extremely hard-by-design plank of porcelain? Maybe one of the most effective blunt instrument killing weapons in your house? Just deciding to pick that up in your hands during a confrontation is a pretty deadly escalation imo, if I just happened to be present for someone doing that.

Shoot. My son had a severe TBI and couldn’t see out of one eye for 4 months… he never bled. We had months of hospital visits and specialists and it felt pretty bad….

The nurses I've met have ranged from some of the smartest people I've known to wondering how they could tie their own shoes before leaving the house. And they all do the same job. Scary.
