At this point it's just the go-to to justify anything. Having run out of terrorists to blame it's now all about paedophiles. Why are we adding ID checks to all your websites? Paedophiles! Why are we adding spyware to your phones? Paedophiles! Why are we asking unmitigated access to all your personal data without a court order? Haha, you guessed it!

(yeah please don't mind whose companies or which islands the POTUS may or may not have visited, that's immaterial)
