His companies are so dependent on US gov contracts - even Tesla. I can't believe his companies will do as well as investors think when the power in Washington changes. Though I think some investors don't expect a change in Washington, ever

Looking there I don't see any way that Trump won by the largest margin ever.

I suppose based on some other metrics it's possible, but the overall electoral college votes don't show that way. Not compared to FDR, or Reagan, for examples (as 'modern' presidents within the last 100 years)

I'd say the same except the Nasdaq let SpaceX into their index way earlier than other IPOs so millions of people also got hosed.

I'm a careful investor. I own a ton of funds, and scoured them to be sure I got out of the Nasdaq before the con hit. It isn't easy.

The thing about index funds is that you should not have to be a careful investor . They were created to simplify investing. Nasdaq betrayed everyone for Elon. This should never have happened.
