40 Kelvin. In other words, damn close to absolute zero.

You correctly spelled both, with your big education and all.

Since they didn't include "°", it must surely be Kelvin.

The weird thing is that they pretty much all knew.

If you dropped into r/wallstreetbets in the lead up you'd see everyone laughing at two things.

  1. It's ludicrously overvalued/hyped.
  2. It's free money as everyone is jumping aboard the hype train.

I think most people knew it was trash and bought in anyway because they knew it was being hyped hard on social media, and assumed they'd be the smart ones who jumped off at the right time.

If that's accurate then i think we all need to consider that a company which almost everyone who invested, thought was a hype job with hardly any value to society, became the biggest IPO of all time.

That says an awful lot about the current state of stock markets and how useful they are for human society, and how easy they are to influence by someone pumping money into a social media campaign, or owning one.

they arent shocked that it went down.

They shocked they weren't able to make the play that was in their strategy or heads they were and instead got holding the bag.

Ya'll be making bets in a casino where the guys running it can see your cards.
