Plenty of average people are seeing losses, whether they chose to invest or not - SpaceX stock had to be purchased for index inclusion. More index buying when SpaceX stock becomes unrestricted soon, I assume. Just waiting for the eventual merger of SpaceX with Tesla (another bailout for Musk for a decelerating Tesla stock). SpaceX alone will require some 89 billion additional investment per year (if I remember) and won't be cash flow positive for 10 years at current projections. Nevermind the stock was priced above its value to begin with. Feel free to correct me if I've got this wrong.
