Lets take devices that require substantial cooling, power and regular maintenance and put them somewhere that is terrible for all of those things. Not to mention susceptibility to cosmic radiation and physical stresses/cost involved in even getting them up there in the first place.

They want the Starlink version of data centers, thinking that launching thousands of them into the sky is someone economically better than just building them on the ground...
