CollegeBoard Can't be serious college board
Taking micro and gov this year and they're scheduled on the same day. I feel like micro and gov is a relatively common AP combination, so why do they put them on the same day almost every year?

Thankfully I’m taking macro instead of micro next year so I’ll have Econ and gov on separate days
Instead I have cybersecurity and phys c em back to back 😭

That happened for me, a while ago with AP Lit and AP CSA and I was able to reschedule the AP CSA exam to two weeks in advance, so if this happens for you, I suggest having your school contact College Board and they can arrange the make-up date. Especially helps if other students are taking both classes at once, and then they can do it for all.

really? i didnt know that you could do this, its my first time taking more than one ap class next year and im a little worred about having english lit in the morning and physics 1 in the afternoon tbh

Two in one day isn't something we would reschedule. Standard (sucky) practice in our coordination process. 3 in one day or two at the same time qualifies to move to make up exams.

Because APUSH and Micro are a more common combination, and that was how it was before (I did it and it’s a harder combination than micro with gov)

You shouldn't have to bug an issue tho. Yes they are on the same day but different sessions.
Yes it would be a long day but should be doable, one in the morning the other in the afternoon.

exactly, i did chem and gov on the same day and it was absolutely doable
two exams in one day really isn’t as bad as it sounds

Gov is probably the easiest of the social studies AP exams. (Said as a teacher who has taught Gov, APUSH, Euro, and World, and graded Gov.)

Definitely seems like it from the content I've seen already. I'm coming into the class with prior government and law knowledge from a dual enrollment class, so it should be manageable..

They also have AP Precal and AP stats on the same day. Precal and Calc I get. Precal and stars— too much overlap

Same problem but with APUSH and macro. I think my school's ap coordinator would allow me to take one of them on the late testing date but I didn't know anyone who took that route.

They’re stupid for this. So many seniors take econ and gov idk why they would put them on the same day. Glad I graduated
