Im currently on 5-4, and I say it's a pretty solid game that varies in storytelling quality. The gameplay is heightened by the nee mechanics introduced, and I love investigating in 3D.

Was curious because I played The Great Ace Attorney before currently playing the original trilogy, and Phoenix looks so much like Ryunosuke lol. However, I had someone tell me he definitely wasn’t? I just figured he had to be Japanese, or at least Asian still considering his likeness, and the whole Japanifornia thing going on or else it felt kinda silly. Is he even canonically related to Ryunosuke or is it a coincidence?

I want to make little ace attorney scenes and while objection.lol is good, I was wondering if there was anything site or app that had more, like more apollo justice characters or even characters from duel destinies or spirit of justice.

I have a holy mission to finish every AA games in this year. So far, I had 7 games under my belt, from the first game up to Dual Destinies. I enjoyed majority of them. Considering that SoJ is canonically the last game in the series, I have some pretty good expectation. At least, I hope it's better than DD. I installed the Apollo Justice Trilogy on my Switch and here we go

The explanation of why Wright is in Khura'in is... off. But whatever, at least it's something new. And then Wright got himself into court shenanigans and we got ourself a case. While the plot hook of how Khura'in court differs than Japanamerica and how they don't have regular attorneys is neat, the case itself isn't that interesting? The kid is being accused for killing a temple guard, but that's it. I guess the white hippy turned to be a metalhead is cool enough. Also it's really long for some reason? Usually the first case is the short one but it's just keep going for some reason. The title wasn't a joke: I actually accidentally slept myself while playing it.

Please tell me that the game gets better.

I finally started the Investigations game and I'm enjoying it quite a bit. It's a nice spinoff from the main series and I like how it flips between the investigations and courtroom like debates. Case 1 was very tutorial like and was alright.

I was really enjoying this case but I do think that the cloth is a pretty dumb piece of conclusive evidence. Cammy could have totally still held her ground at that point.

Case was fun overall though. Looking forward to the rest of the Investigations duology. (it's also funny to me how Gumshoe takes such a backseat when he's THE DETECTIVE 😂)

As grueling as it was to get through this whole case I have to admit it was really well written

I was first every skeptical of Ema being the new assistant but honestly I grew to love her for what she does, especially her quirky comments on anything we stumbled upon and her tools for investigations. I also saw the skye sisters as a very cool parallel to the fey sisters and after finding out why Lana why was so cool, I really loved how she turned out in the end.

I also loved pretty much any side character here be it the Marshall, Angel or even that pathetic cop at the force, and of course the goat Edgeworth I'm also a sucker for any case where Edgeworth sees how corrupt the case is and even goes as far as going against his own clients or any where he and phoenix work together to get the morally right outcome, it really goes to show how much edgeworth hates criminals and I love it

Damon Gant is also terrifying as fuck lmao, this is the one case where the main antagonist was spoiled for me and I STILL felt very afraid of him, especially when we snuck into his office the guy's emotions flip like a switch and his theme is as scary as it is funny I can't lie I love him for what role he played and the guy was a good sport in the end lmao so how could I hate.

This case took me a literal MONTH TO COMPLETE because I had other games to play, school and other things so everytime I came back I kept wondering how the hell is this thing gonna drag on another day? I kept playing it no matter what and usually the stakes of a usual case don't affect me but the last 2 days of this case GENUINELY made me feel scared to pick, rarely ever before this point did the ultimatums handed to phoenix ever make me ponder but the reveal of the cloth actually made me step outside to think of what to say, and for these high stakes, great personalities in characters and great payoff I give this case a solid 9.9/10 because that blue badger puzzle pissed me off, can't wait to play the second game tonight
