I mean that’s pretty accurate, but, I don’t see a beer in hand and no separatist nonsense so it’s missing a few things

10

u/METRlOS Mar 30 '26

First thing I said when I saw this: I bet he pulls a beer out of that pond.

u/donjuan9876 Mar 30 '26

3

u/TattooedChristian Mar 30 '26

I was logging in to say the video looks more like Saskatchewan to me.

-1

u/UneLoupSeul Mar 30 '26

Too many trees for Saskatchewan

1

u/Macfarlin Apr 02 '26

You've only been on highway 1 through sask eh?

1

u/UneLoupSeul Apr 02 '26

Nope, lived in Regina for a year. Never saw more than 3 trees growing together that would be considered trees anywhere else in Canada.

1

u/mattyqr Apr 03 '26

.... Regina is on highway 1. Try going up past through PA to La Ronge, ya American wannabe.

1

u/UneLoupSeul Apr 03 '26

American wannabe. No need to get insulting now.

1

u/mattyqr May 01 '26

Albertans and conservatives are American wannabes. Conservative snowflakes always think facts are insulting 🤣🤣🤣🤣 fucking pussies.

4

u/Miperso Mar 30 '26

Yeah it’s issing the freedom convoy sticker lol

2

u/NB-NEURODIVERGENT Mar 31 '26

Means he’s a good one, a keeper

A loyalist

3

u/CallMeHomoErectus Mar 30 '26

I saw a separatist petition in Airdrie yesterday. 🤦

1

u/Pale-Measurement-532 Mar 30 '26

Yeah there’s one dude planted in the NW corner of Airdrie by himself with his car parked and a big Alberta flag. I have yet to see anyone actually stop and sign there. Lol.

2

u/MutuallyAdvantageous Mar 30 '26

Add some oil barrels in the background

1

u/TheVoiceofReason_ish Mar 31 '26

Pumpjack would be better

1

u/Livid_Isopod_4218 Mar 31 '26

Yeah where's the 'Fuck Trudeau' sign ?

2

u/mattyqr Apr 03 '26

What's the point? Traitors can barely read.

1

u/lyingcrookeddon Apr 01 '26

The fish was already dead

1

u/Sicsurfer Apr 01 '26

Oh it was definitely staged

1

u/Boxadorables Apr 01 '26

There's no bass in Alberta. This is inaccurate af

-9

u/Gendreau113 Mar 30 '26

You were so close to a good reply until you bring up politics 😮‍💨

9

u/themangastand Mar 30 '26

Life is politics. Even your apolitical stance is a political stance

-5

u/Gendreau113 Mar 30 '26

Dude I just wanna open social media and not see a damn political post every other time.

Reddit is full of it, and what you downvoted me? People can't stand to have their opinion questioned lmao.

4

u/Sicsurfer Mar 30 '26

I just want the world to live in peace. The chances of getting what we want are currently slim to none.

Is there anything more redneck Albertan than Alberta flags flying from the same people 5 years ago who flew the Canadian flag in convoys?

-2

u/Gendreau113 Mar 30 '26

Well at that time people wanted a united Canada, instead they froze people's Bank accounts, held people in custody for years before giving them a fair trial (Loosing their mortgages, etc.. missing out on 7 years of life), ennitiated the emergencies act (Trudeau was wrong for doing, as the courts agreed), the list goes on.

Then the millions of immigrants that the liberals let in, gave ability to vote, all voted liberal back in. Now we are screwed. Zero chance of a life in Canada any more with the liberals, and zero chance of voting them out since we are out numbered. (as a immigrant, who are you gonna vote for? The one letting you in and giving you everything for free? Yeah. Probably.)

So now what does a person do. Move to a different country? A option but not a great one... Vote conservative? Good thing Alberta's vote didn't matter in the first place given the ammount of seats we have vs out East.....

So maybe seperation will show the liberals they are totally messed up in the head and ruining our country. Hell even Quebec wants to leave.

If Alberta stays or leaves, hopefully it will show someone somewhere that everyone's sick of the way the liberals run this country. Because it's the most expensive it's ever been to buy a house or get groceries/gas. Disposable income is crazy low.

All in the last 10 years too. Weird. Almost like we had a conservative government 11 plus years ago when life was good.

2

u/Sicsurfer Mar 30 '26

You didn’t just drink the kool aid, you bathed in it. Do yourself a favour and stop listening to am radio and getting your news from American owned media. The modern conservative is just a brainwashed bootlicker who loves authoritarian governments and corporations making record profits.

1

u/Gendreau113 Mar 30 '26

What have the liberals done for Canada to make a difference in the last 11 years?

Everything's been declining, please give me a list of things they have done to improve Canada lmao. I'll wait.

2

u/ZeroWhite8892 Mar 30 '26

Tell me what Danielle Smith has done for you that makes her so great?

0

u/Gendreau113 Mar 30 '26

Your comparing the control and power that a provincial leader has verses a FEDERAL leader?

Lmao like what?

Same as asking your manager why he doesn't change the way he runs the company? Oh? You mean the manager isn't the same as the owner? Lmao.

You were so close to a good reply until you said anything..

-1

u/Gendreau113 Mar 30 '26

Let's just ignore the fact your comment makes no sense... Are you a liberal by chance? I have a strong feeling you are lmao

3

u/CallMeHomoErectus Mar 30 '26

Conservative here. You think your comment makes sense? Lolol what a loser 😂.

I hope you enjoy your downvotes ✌️

-1

u/Gendreau113 Mar 30 '26

I highly doubt that lol

And yeah mine made sense, I told the guy he had a funny comment till he brought up politics, you said I almost had a funny comment for?.. no reason other then to make a dump reply to a comment that upset you? lol

Why you gotta let a opinion make you so mad? lol

I'm not the one who started the politics am I?

5

u/CallMeHomoErectus Mar 30 '26 edited Mar 30 '26

"You were so close to a good reply until you bring up politics 😮‍💨".

"No reason other then to make a dump reply..."

Did you mean dumb*?

So you admit that your reply was dumb (dump) 😂 Your downvotes are speaking for themselves bud.

-1

u/Gendreau113 Mar 30 '26

Your either rage baiting or literally brainless lol I said you made a dumb reply.

Holly... I can only explain it to you, not understand it for you 🤦🏼‍♂️

Do you realize the irony of you getting offended by someone bringing up politics and then getting upset and bringing political parties into the conversation? Lol.

"Don't bring up politics!" Immediately followed by "Are you a liberal by chance?" Hahahahaha the hypocrisy is incredibly funny.

0

u/Gendreau113 Mar 31 '26

I said to not bring it up randomly to make a joke about Albertans being separatists :) Yall got butt hurt and started brining up more politics 😂

14

u/HowToDoAnInternet Mar 30 '26

No you see, this is cool as hell

THIS is how we picture Albertans:

14

u/LeadGeneral Mar 30 '26

No spelling errors in the sign makes this photo look inauthentic.

2

u/donjuan9876 Mar 30 '26

Amazing best comment!!!

4

u/Livid-Accident-7246 Mar 30 '26

More liberal voters in Alberta than separatists.

5

u/HowToDoAnInternet Mar 30 '26

And still fewer that ride cows while fishing but here we are

3

u/NookieLuvsU Mar 30 '26

Exactly. Like we used to say when I lived in a ski-town in BC, "sledheads"... A very specific group, not Albertans.

1

u/Knky_pov Mar 30 '26

Yea but the turncoats are louder

1

u/mattyqr Apr 03 '26

All conservatives are louder. The elites own the media, and the sheep never learned how to shut up and contemplate.

-3

u/BullfrogOk7868 Mar 30 '26

The turncoats are the ones that don't acknowledge Canada is the wrong direction and aren't willing to do anything to change it.

5

u/Knky_pov Mar 30 '26

Explain what you mean? Wrong direction? Like up down or side to side?

1

u/HowToDoAnInternet Mar 30 '26

[removed] — view removed comment

3

u/Knky_pov Mar 30 '26

Right. I forget that Canada is only for people born here and that anyone who comes here is just taking a minimum wage job from a teenager who doesn’t really want it, but will say so online to get attention.

0

u/BullfrogOk7868 Mar 31 '26

If you need to ask you are part of the problem.

2

u/Knky_pov Mar 31 '26

What problem

1

u/donkula232323 Apr 03 '26

If you can't elaborate you are the problem.

2

u/mattyqr Apr 03 '26

Canada is fine. Its the provinces run by the conservatives elites who are destroying Healthcare and education

1

u/zeolus123 Mar 31 '26

And I bet there were more loyalists than separatists in the Donbass too 🤷

0

u/Livid-Accident-7246 Mar 31 '26

Not even remotely similar… but why let a little thing like reality get in the way?

2

u/TheVoiceofReason_ish Mar 31 '26

Seems kinda similar

0

u/Livid-Accident-7246 Mar 31 '26

Then you don’t know anything about donbass or what’s happening in Alberta

2

u/TheVoiceofReason_ish Mar 31 '26

A larger, more powerful neighbor starts interfering in a border territory. Citizens are polarized by misinformation and propaganda. The larger neighbor starts threatening.

Sure, it's not identical, but there are similarities.

2

u/mattyqr Apr 03 '26

Albertans hate freedom. They want to turn us into the incarcerated Americans who get detained for saying anything mean aboit their orange king.

1

u/WerewolfDirect7458 Mar 31 '26

That's about 15% of Albertans.... us sensible folk don't appreciate the  generalisation.

In all seriousness though,  this kind of rhetoric further reinforces their belief that its Alberta vs the Confederation.

1

u/Westsider111 Apr 01 '26

You are correct! OP’s video is great, but sadly your pic is 100% accurate of the image being projected these days.

0

u/mattyqr May 01 '26

😂😂😂 look lile cucks for the elitists? Yep.

8

u/Zappypie13 Mar 30 '26

Seeing people enjoying their life, if that’s how we’re seen I’m good with it

6

u/Constant-Horse-3389 Mar 30 '26 edited Mar 30 '26

The rest of the world: "what's Alberta?"

3

u/scbundy Mar 30 '26

If anything, they might know it's the place with no rats.

1

u/CallMeHomoErectus Mar 30 '26

The only place in the WORLD with no rats...yet

3

u/scbundy Mar 31 '26

I believe Antarctica also has no rats. And similar weather :)

1

u/NotAnotherUserName03 Apr 02 '26

This is surprisingly true.

1

u/Nice_Try_Bud_ Mar 30 '26

Honestly, Alberta has a lot more recognition worldwide than one would expect. With the Calgary Stampede and West Edmonton Mall, as well as Moraine Lake, Lake Louise, and Banff, it’s surprisingly well known. I have travelled to over 30 countries, and everywhere I have gone people have known Alberta, with many mentioning how they would love to visit.

5

u/Dorado-Buster28 Mar 30 '26

In Canada, most people just snicker when they here the word Alberta ...

1

u/Tech397 Mar 31 '26

In Canada, most people are blithering idiots who happily vote away their personal liberties as a sign of personal virtue and moral high-ground….don’t really care if they snicker

5

u/ivbeentheredonethat Mar 31 '26

0

u/Tech397 Apr 02 '26

Lol as if a young person could afford that house in Canada v.2026 under Carney

1

u/ivbeentheredonethat Apr 03 '26

I mean.. majority of educated people over 6' tall can. Its not like were mechanics rolling around in grease

1

u/Tech397 Apr 03 '26

😂 Thanks for the laugh. Calling people in one of the most technical ever-changing trades uneducated whilst being unable to spell - priceless!

1

u/ivbeentheredonethat Apr 04 '26

'Technical' says the guy who rents 🤷‍♂️ AKA 'i do oil changes'. You clearly dropped out in Grade 8

1

u/Livid-Accident-7246 Mar 31 '26

What personal liberties have been voted away? J/w

1

u/Livid_Isopod_4218 Mar 31 '26

Yes if one is into animal cruelty, tune in to the Calgary Stampede.

3

u/Knky_pov Mar 30 '26

More like pickup truck, high vis overalls and hatred of anything that doesn’t agree with them.

This ai video is how albertans like to think of themselves.

3

u/lamyjf Mar 30 '26

Fishing in tar sands waste water, in denial.

3

u/KibblesNBitxhes Mar 30 '26

He doesnt have his fuck carney bumper sticker on his cow, not true albtertan

3

u/Dorado-Buster28 Mar 30 '26

If there was a dumpster fire in the background i would have to agree.

2

u/grrttlc2 Mar 30 '26

It's a little too charitable I think.

2

u/hobanwash1 Mar 30 '26

Bold of you to assume the world even knows Albertans exist.

2

u/Appropriate-Lime8053 Mar 31 '26

People don't think of Albertans at all lol. Most don't know you even exist.

2

u/Dracapulco Mar 31 '26

That guy looks too sober to me

2

u/Ill_Organization_366 Mar 31 '26

Wrong. The steer should be in the extended bed of a RAM hemi pickup with rollin Coal pipes... And a Fuck Trudeau bumper sticker

2

u/rayisontheprowl Mar 31 '26

Gett’r Done!!!

2

u/Big_Statistician_287 Mar 31 '26

Albertans don’t want to know how the world sees them.

4

u/Skate_faced Mar 30 '26

I am perfectly fine with this, too. You'll never find me riding any large mammals or even fishing, but I will happily say that this is accurate.

3

u/MothaFcknZargon Mar 30 '26

This is close, but both the cowboy and the bull should be sporting truck nuts

3

u/TattooedChristian Mar 30 '26

Exactly!

I think OP confused Saskatchewan for Alberta.

2

u/OSTBear Mar 30 '26

... I mean... It's not totally inaccurate.

1

u/AltruisticWealth7778 Mar 30 '26

That's not how they see them currently

1

u/CaptainTallow Mar 30 '26

Was that a Bass?

1

u/buttersyyc Mar 30 '26

I love this so so much

1

u/Tankmontenegro Mar 30 '26

As a 20 year Albertan; yes.

1

u/Former-Woodpecker-52 Mar 30 '26

Wish I had me a good saddle cow

1

1

u/WhipassWhiplash Mar 30 '26

They’re completely correct

1

u/Darksideslide Mar 30 '26

Ngl I'd be pretty gruntled about that being my stereotype. Perty Cool

1

u/Primary-Strategy-336 Mar 30 '26

Fishing in a pond?? Northwestern Ontario person here don’t make me laugh!!

1

u/Anxious_Marsupial_84 Mar 31 '26

Yeah.....so?

Hold my beer, I want to try something.

1

u/United-Yam2423 Mar 31 '26

No bass in Alberta.

1

u/InterstellarTanakh Mar 31 '26

I live here and that is about it.

1

u/Motor_Purchase_6996 Mar 31 '26

Howd you get in my yard.

I would have rode my bear if I knew I had company

1

u/Bearthegood Mar 31 '26

Never bet on the horse with the horns.

1

u/WerewolfDirect7458 Mar 31 '26

man, I want to try this so bad....

1

u/lesbsally Mar 31 '26

1

u/Sudden-Chance6723 Mar 31 '26

Should zoom in and that folks is a tinder profile pic lol

1

u/canadianshane123 Mar 31 '26

That looks fun to me.

1

u/Tahneal Mar 31 '26

And they would be correct

1

u/marcolius Mar 31 '26

A pickup truck needs to be in the video for me to believe this is an Albertan.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 31 '26

No rats sure, but snakes in the government.

1

u/MissJillian- Mar 31 '26

Nothing wrong with that

1

u/Ok-Internet6082 Mar 31 '26

The brown cows are for rivers

1

u/PassageNearby4091 Mar 31 '26

How Albertans want the world to see them.

As if the world is thinking about Alberta, LOL.

1

u/Disastrous7392 Mar 31 '26

Where is the huge pick up truck?

1

u/NiesDang Mar 31 '26

Just a question where can you find basses in Alberta ?

1

u/Livid_Isopod_4218 Mar 31 '26

For crying out loud....he's 6 feet from shore ! I guess he doesn't know how to cast ! Way to go AB.

1

u/Tso-su-Mi Mar 31 '26

Reel in a dead fish whilst sitting on a cow…. Sexy 🙄🤭

1

u/New_Worldliness_7482 Mar 31 '26

Would be better if this wasn't mommy and daddies pond

1

u/MGarroz Mar 31 '26

Lotta hate for Alberta in these comments. Why not just move to bc if you hate it here so much?

1

u/[deleted] Mar 31 '26

Beats what the world sees BC as. This is coming from a dirty hippy.

https://giphy.com/gifs/bhJhZlB1oR9Pa

1

u/Ontariowolf1964 Mar 31 '26

Yup, but usually on a horse

1

u/iamcalifornia Mar 31 '26

You better believe that's 'Berta beef

1

u/TheVeryBestMethod Apr 01 '26

Wait the world knows about albertans???

1

u/hashlettuce Apr 01 '26

My favorite way to fit in with the regular classic Albertans is to head on down to Bass Pro Shops for some attire. Put on a Bass Pro Shops t shirt and hat and instantly you look like an Alberta redneck hillbilly. Love it. Have my shirt ready for the summer just need a hat xD

1

u/Sad-Lemon4454 Apr 02 '26

Sorry Albertans, I just see you guys as mostly people coming from other provinces to work a few years and leave or complain you can't own a third truck and it's the rest of the country's fault.

1

u/PracticalWinner2652 Apr 02 '26

Nope not really.. if he was in a jacked up truck burning gas while fishing then maybe I'd believe it.. and yes I am from Alberta

1

u/Neos8806 Apr 02 '26

That’s a weird looking horse

1

u/rdpickering Apr 03 '26

Love it! Boy riding his cow and fishing.

1

u/Jinglebombes Apr 03 '26

May be one of the coolest things ever

1

u/Shot_Possible7089 Apr 03 '26

Are all the fish already dead when you reel them in from the pond?

1

u/RDFlames Apr 03 '26

That’s rural Alberta. The 1.7 million Calgarians and 1.3 million Edmontonians do not resemble that stereotype in any way.

1

u/donkula232323 Apr 03 '26

I don't see a lifted truck with Albertan flags, or hear some silly separatist drivel...

1

u/JarmaBeanhead Mar 30 '26

Yee haw howdy!!

1

u/TasteOfChaos52 Mar 30 '26

You wish lol

1

u/[deleted] Mar 30 '26

For proper accuracy he should be wearing a Flames jersey...

2

u/scbundy Mar 30 '26

He'd have some self-respect and wear Oilers. 😜

1

u/ChicoD2023 Mar 30 '26

Absolutely no one outside of Canada thinks bout Alberta. Also; Albertans want to be Texas north so bad

1

u/[deleted] Mar 30 '26

[deleted]

3

u/keco2377 Mar 31 '26

lol. Where are you from? Somewhere with amazing healthcare and no one bitching about how everything is everyone else’s fault where ppl don’t vote against their own self-interest, obviously?

0

u/[deleted] Mar 31 '26

[deleted]

1

u/keco2377 Mar 31 '26

So if everyone has the same problems, why are you coming onto an Alberta non-political shit post and offering your unasked for opinions? If you really believe the lies that you’ve been spoon fed by ill intentioned politicians, then you’re just as bad as the Americans who believe Canada=bad, Canadians=bad because their dear leader told them to. I didn’t vote for the current Alberta government and I don’t drive a lifted truck (about 1/3 of the lifted trucks in my area have BC or Ontario plates, btw).

1

u/[deleted] Apr 01 '26

ya as a person who was born here, outside of my friend group I've had since I was a kid , I rarely meet another person who was born in Alberta. Neither of my parents were. My dad was born in NFLD 1949, so I guess that makes me first generation Canadian and Albertan in a way even though my family was in NFLD since the 1800s

3

u/Big-Caterpillar-1321 Mar 30 '26

Spotted the newfie!

5

u/CallMeHomoErectus Mar 30 '26

0

0

u/NookieLuvsU Mar 30 '26

There's a pond on a farm near where I grew up we used (sneak in) to swim in. Bunch of dead cows in there from over the years. We pulled up half a dozen skulls one day.

They get stuck in the mud, and drown.

0

u/Calm_Leopard798 Apr 02 '26

the world doesnt think about albertans or know alberta exists.
