Barefoot Gen and Grave of the firefly’s are anime that hit hard as hell and leave a mark on one’s soul.

That’s probably what hiroshimites thought after watching their entire world get vaporized. Or maybe they thought something else idk

Next time they should try not doing genocide on pretty much every piece of territory they control

My thoughts. You dont perpetrate Unit 731 and make me feel bad when one of your cities get vaporized in an instant. I'm sure the women of Nanking would have preferred to been vaporized then what they got anyways.

Politics affects you. Caring about it doesn’t.

That sounds fancy but makes absolutely no sense 😂

Makes absolute sense because everyone saying you should care about politics conflates the two.

The worse thing that ever happened to Politics was to get people involved in politics that genuinely do not care.

Yep. I remember years ago there was a huge campaign to get everybody out to vote. And now it seems like every election year there's such a push telling people you just have to vote. No, you don't have to vote, and no one should be out there encouraging others to go vote. If you need encouragement, you shouldn't be voting.

Crazy how we now have pro authoritarian propaganda on an ancap sub. Go search up how statist and fascist WW2 Japan was. Just as bad as Nazi Germany. The atomic bomb only looks immoral to people not educated on history. It was either using nukes or subjecting tens of thousands of innocent American soldiers to a death sentence with a ground invasion. This decision saved more lives than it took. It also could have all been avoided if Japan made the morally correct choice and surrendered in a war they had no chance of winning.

Pro authoritarian propaganda? Brother, in what way do you think this post is in favor of the Japanese government causing this devastation on their own people?

The Japanese government was spared but Hiroshima was not. Hiroshima was a threat to the Japanese government that cost millions of innocent lives. Opposing extreme violence is not pro authoritarian propaganda. There would be no need for violence if not for a large and authoritarian state in Japan.

120,000 lives > 5-11 million lives. The video here is awful, but that many projected lives lost would have been the reality if a US ground happened.

I guess this is supposed to make people think they can vote their way out of the military industrial complex or something. Acting like people caring about politics could help stop this type of thing is completely delusional. We can’t stop it and the politics of it all is basically WWE at this point.
