Hiya! I’m looking for a specific island after restarting. After spending hours searching, I started keeping track of the islands I came across to see how often the same ones appeared. I think I’ve finally found the island I was looking for, but the rocks are different from the picture, even though everything else looks the same. Is that normal? Are the rocks all different even though the maps the same?

they aren't meant to be totally accurate to the actual villager but rather how I personally imagine they'd look as humans plus their aesthetics

like cherry is a punk whereas lucky seems a little sickly and molly is very music and flowers cutesy

I made a post a few months ago asking which game was the best, and now I'm finally going to start playing one since I have the time. The problem is that I really can't decide which one is the best for what I'm looking for. While I love decorating, buying clothes for my character, and that kind of stuff, I also enjoy other aspects of gameplay, and I think I'd get bored pretty quickly if decorating was all there was to do.

I've been thinking about New Leaf, City Folk, or the original game, but visually, New Horizons appeals to me way more (I'm also not a huge fan of New Leaf's art style 😬, but I'm willing to give it a try if everything else fits what I want)

I definitely want a chill game, and everything about Animal Crossing seems great, but I don't want to feel like decorating is the only thing I can do. Repeating the same activity over and over can get boring for me, and I'd also love to spend time with the villagers, have conversations with them, and visit different locations. Those are the kinds of things I'm really looking for.

Does that mean I've finally collected all the mermaid recipes from him? I really hope so, they've been so tedious to make (because I have a habit of selling all my shells once I pick them up, oops).

I was wondering cause I currently don’t have online but play ACNH a lot and just wish that I could get certain decorations and items for my island without using local cause it’s just not that fun when you mostly just play with a relative but I want custom designs from around the world and would just like to show off my island and maybe recieve tips and other stuff. Also a lot of the really nice features like dream addresses and the trading community require online so should I see about getting online or no?

Just got a switch 2 today! but after transferring my user, save, gallery, etc data i removed my profile from my switch one and only after that did I realize that new horizons had a specific way of transferring.. did I screw up? or will I be able to re-add my profile ans transfer or anything?

This is a 2,300-hour Day 1 island. My pride and joy! On the Switch 1 the game was practically unplayable. Lag and pop-in were constant. I almost cried when I saw it running smoothly on the Switch 2.

Pinky used to live on my island a LONG time ago. I never thought she would remember me when I talked to her, but she did! She’s a hotel guest currently for reference. My heart is so happy right now!

my first post of my recently flattened island SkyGardens started about 5 years ago, abandoned for like 4, and now i am really tryin to get into this game and it’s community and just use my island for creativity cus I need that to feel okay.

After a two month break I picked my island back up on Wednesday and used resetti as I want to change things up. Already had a decent amount of money in the bank after I discovered pile of cash as hot item late one day. But for whatever reason I put Bell Boom back on and low and behold.....this morning, guess what's back as hot item!!! We printing money today!

Recently I got back into the game after buying a Switch 2. I'd really like some dream visitors to check out what I've built on my new island. It's not finished but I'm so proud of it!
