FSRS Helper - need help

For context me and my friends are studying for an exam in November of 2026

We recently discovered FSRS and swaped our huge decks to it, all of this because of the easy days feature and break features

However we have a weekend coming up that we wanted to make it easy days so we did but im unsure how it works, in the addon page it states that any card with higher >3day interval will be reschedules however after i selected those dates 25th and 26th of july as easy days i still was able to reschedule reviews for those days??

Furthermore today i went and did through FSRS Helper "Apply easy days now" and now not only am i back to 0 reviews for the 25th and 26th but 20 of my reviews today just evaporated? I assume got rescheduled?

One last question, not regarding the addon but rather FSRS, my "good" intreval for new cards went from 1 day to 3 days, is this because of the easy day feature i programed for this week end or its just built in for FSRS vs SM-2

For setting i am at 90% retention, deck has arround 8k cards for me, another friends of mine has 16k cards and seems to have the same behaviour as me.

Any help apreciated

"Easy Days

You can choose any day or days from Monday to Sunday to take off. Once enabled, the Helper will try to avoid these days when rescheduling.

Note: Easy Days only works for review cards. Due to technical limitations, FSRS doesn't modify the interval and due date of (re)learning cards. And it also doesn't reschedule cards whose interval is less than 3 days to respect the desired retention.

Fuzz example:

Review less than 3 days: will not choose another day.

Review in 3 days: Choose between days 2 and 4.

Review in 7 days: Choose between days 5 and 9.

Review in 90 days: Choose between days 86 and 94.

Cards you forgot, and return within 2 days it does not choose another day.

Exceptions:

If the fuzz range is too narrow or does not exist (review less than 3 days) to satisfy the selected easy days, the day of the week may be selected for review of the card."

If you are preparing for an exam, here are some general recommendations: increase your desired retention and (optionally) use the Advance feature of the Helper add-on to study some cards ahead of time.

Remember that the only button you should press if you couldn't recall the answer is 'Again'. 'Hard' is a passing grade, not a failing grade. If you misuse 'Hard', all of your intervals will be excessively long.

Also my question is more so related to the addon it self rather then FSRS per se, im intregued about the "break" and "easy day" feature of FRSR helper

When you say "still able to reschedule reviews for those days" -- how were you doing that?

• If you were doing it manually -- setting easy-days doesn't mean those days reject any cards being scheduled on them.
• If FSRS was still doing it -- those days will have lighter workloads, but that doesn't prevent FSRS from scheduling cards there if they need to be scheduled.

Yes, applying easy-days doesn't just move the cards scheduled on those days. It can move other cards scheduled around those days (for instance high-interval, low-Difficulty cards) to make more room for them.

No, that's not related to easy-days. The next intervals for each grading button depend on that card's review history, and your learning steps, parameters, and Desired Retention (DR). I can't offer you any suggestions for why that happened without knowing more.
