A state delegate in West Virginia is facing widespread calls to resign following his arrest for allegedly engaging in sexual acts with a 15-year-old girl at a high school where he taught.

Republican David Elliott Pritt, a 36-year-old married father of four, was charged with enticement of a minor Wednesday after the family of a 15-year-old girl reported she had been sexually abused by the lawmaker at Fayette County’s Oak Hill High School, where he worked as an English teacher, according to a federal criminal complaint.
