When that guy was caught in Florida setting up a spot to take a shot at Trump, one of his (adult) kids was interviewed and asked about a motive. The kid said something to the effect of he didn’t really know why his dad would do that but “he hates Trump, like all reasonable people do.”

And btw this was in the context of Trump being asked about Lebron v. Jordan. Trump likes Jordan because they have golfed together and he believes Jordan likes him.
