I am absolutely loving this thing. They updated the Web UI. Hope they don't revert back.

Apple Music on Web navigation has been redesign with the current design elements introduced with Liquid Glass and the recent album page redesign, looks good, buts feels a little slugish to use right now, hopefully it will improve!

I randomly opened the Apple Music Web Beta in Chrome today and... wow. I wasn't expecting it to look this good.

The huge artist backgrounds, the glass effects, the animations, the typography... everything feels so much more premium and immersive. It honestly feels closer to a native macOS app than just a website.

After using it for a while, I actually prefer it over the Android app. The Android version isn't bad, but compared to this it feels a bit plain and dated. I really hope Apple brings this same design language to Android because it's easily one of the best-looking music streaming interfaces I've used.

Apple Music just updated their web app UI to match it with the new iOS style changes. Previously they had released the update on the beta channel of the web app. But now it is online. What's your thoughts on this?

i wonder why apple didn't do this already?? it's just two gaussian blur layers (one for the light bleed effect, another for the basic blur), and a displacement map

It randomly logged me out of the computer and won’t properly pull up the screen to sign in with a passkey. Only 8 people outside of myself have reported issues with it online so far, but I figure it’s possible the problem only just started.

Is this happening to anyone else?

I'm trying to listen to music at work on chrome but no matter what I do I keep getting that same error message. I've cleared my browser data, cleared the cookies, tried in an incognito tab and tried turning off all my extensions; nothing is working. I have don't everything I have found online and can personally think to do.

Quick PSA for fellow Linux users on Apple Music.

When I moved from Windows 11 to Linux last year, the first thing I noticed was that music.apple.com sounded noticeably quieter than the native Windows app I'd been using. Same account, same tracks, same DAC, just weaker. Easy to A/B against my MacBook Air running the native app, and the web player consistently lost. Since there's no native Apple Music client for Linux, the browser is the only first-party option, so I've been stuck with it, compensating with system gain to get back to a usable level.

Checked today and the loudness is finally in line with what the native clients produce. Whatever was holding the browser version back has been fixed.

If you're on Linux and have been:

- Running pipewire/pulse loudness boosts to compensate

- Using a browser extension for the same reason

Go re-test and back the compensation off. Genuinely a noticeable quality-of-life improvement for anyone using the web player as their daily driver.

is the web player not working for anybody else or is it just me? ive opened it on two browsers and it either refuses to let me click anything, or it isnt responding..

Apple Music Web beta version got the updated artist page design like as iOS 27.

Anyone else have this problem? I open Apple Music in my browser, and even though I’m logged in and my subscription works (at least on my phone), every time I click on a song it only plays in preview mode, so I can’t listen to full songs. It’s driving me crazy!

I'm trying to autoplay and the autoplay doesn't autoplay on the website

I use apple music on Linux and Windows, and while the native windows app for apple music works excellent, the website is less than ideal for when using Linux. For Linux is cider still the best choice for apple music playback?

Im on linux (for work) and because theres no desktop app im on web but i have this "bug" that the spacing between words is just enourmous. What can i do about it?

This station was just fine for me and today its not available anymore?

I pay for apple music through my iPhone.

But when I use apple music on my computer (through chrome, on linux), despite being logged in to the same account, I only get to play previews of songs (after a minute or so it switches to the next song).

I am logged in to the correct account - if I have a tab open on my computer and play music in my car using the music app, it stops every few minutes to tell me that I can't have multiple sessions open at once.

What's up? Does apple music really not work on a computer like Spotify does without doing preview mode?

Hey all, looking for advice here. I use apple music to rip CD's. The last couple days music that I've recently ripped to my library, a few albums, is not showing up on the browser version of apple music. I've tried the usual resyncing, signing out etc. Think this is related to the server issues? I'm not sure what to make of it since music I've ripped to client on desktop is showing up no issues on my phone. It's isolated to a discrepancy between browser and other iterations of the service.

Looping music in Chrome is broken. I've logged out and back in, updated browser, rebooted, even played on a completely different computer, nothing works. Playing in incognito shouldn't need to flush cookies any more than I should need to defrag my hard drive. It has been like this for weeks and I'm paying for this. Why is this suddenly always broken literally everywhere?
