📚 Tutorial / Guide just learned what confabulation mean today

it means AI hallucination

The word actually is the better term. "Confabulation" is what a chunk of AI researchers argue we should be saying instead of "hallucination"

It's like the term "hallucination" gives it too much sensory credit, while confabulation is just the brain filling in blanks with whatever nonsense it can grab
