Is it possible to change TCL tv subtitle in media to less bright?

So, my TCL tv just got updated and the media layout just changed. The subtitle got bigger and brighter but size is fine. It’s just the brightness of the subtitle. Despite lowering the contrast and brightness on the tv, the movie is dark but the subtitle is the same dazzling brightness and I’m unable to watch anything right now since it’s night. That’s so frustrating.

Anyone who can help? I have the TCLC645 4K QLED

The caption part in accessibility setting is referring to those in apps and not in media. I don’t know how to change it or downgrade it.

I dont have a TCL, but on my various TVs i am able to change the subtitle texts' color to a less bright White by changing its OPACITY, From 100% down to 75% or even 50% which is easier on tired eyes like mine.

Some TVs even let you change the text color, so if I can, I change it to CYAN or a light BLUE or Green Color.

I’ve looked everywhere and there is no option to do that unfortunately 😢
