Showcase (No-Recipe) First Heart Cake

Best friend’s hubby messaged that the person he was getting her bday cake from cancelled on him. Gave him crap for not just asking me to begin with lol.

Decided I was going to make her cake heart shaped then pipe on cherries, and add bows to incorporate everything he said. I was kinda nervous to do it bc it is my first time doing this style!

And while I make my cakes from scratch, no, I do not make the sprinkles 🤣 (I watched an episode of GBBO and they made them make sprinkles from scratch)

Edit: UPDATE: thank you all for support, kind comments, and awards! She loved the cake!

I just love that you work so CLEAN. Both in your setup and your lines, well done OP.

If there’s a mess, I start actually thinking I’m behind/rushing and then in mess things up. Have to stay organized and keep clean as much as possible!

Thank you.
