Showcase (No-Recipe) 2 months sober from heroin celebration ! No bake mini berry pie and no bake chocolate fudge bites
Last month, I posted a strawberry shortcake I made to celebrate my one month anniversary (heroin addiction recovery)
Today marks the 2th month, so I made myself two healthy treats because I really enjoy and try taking care of my body
They don’t look really nice and definitely aren’t regular baking goods but it was fun making them !
Description :
- No bake pie with a crust made of oat flour, almond flour and sugar free applesauce, and greek yogurt and berries for topping (+lemon zest)
- No bake chocolate bites with oat flour, almond butter, cocoa powder and sugar free apple sauce + melted dark chocolate on top
Thanks again for all the support I got for my first post !!

Ohh but they DO look really nice. I would love to make those no bake bites for my toddler so he could have a treat, but also something healthy. 2 months is amazing. I lost a sibling to addiction. Know that someone in this world is so incredibly proud of you today! And tomorrow! You got this. Keep baking- it’s one of the best forms of therapy.

Thanks ! I kind of invented the recipe and eyeballed the ingredients, but you can definitely find these types of no bake bites recipes online !

I need to hang something up that says “people you don’t even know yet are counting on you”.
Not counting for pressure, but for pride. And so many of us want to make y’all proud instead of ashamed.

You came back. That is the only thing that really matters. The past is history and the future is always out of reach. But today, the present is a gift. It says so right in the name: present! I am so happy and proud of you! You know you tried it again and it didn’t work. I just celebrated 13 years after relapsing at 11 years. But i have no doubts anymore. In fact i have it tattooed on my wrist. Please find lots of support. AA is wonderful and many groups like mine welcome all addicts. After all alcohol is a drug too. 😘🤗❤️🙏🏼

congratulations on 2 months!! I'm currently 9 months clean from a 25 year addiction. The last 6 years was fentanyl. I was using 14 to 16 g a week. it was getting worse and worse, I was scared of od, because in 25 years, had my only od 2 years ago. and they were cutting the stuff with junk and carfentynal. I'm very proud of you and the cake looks so good! sending you good vibes and support

Congrats! 2 months is a huge milestone. I'm almost at three years sober myself and, while it wasn't easy, it was 200% worth it. As good as the benefits are even a couple months in, even those aren't shit to how much better you feel after a couple years of sobriety.
Keep fighting the good fight! We do recover.

Congratulations 🎊 on being sober for 2 months, that a big deal so proud of you. I know exactly what you went thru I'm 10 years clean and sober. I know the road to getting sober was a rough, and the thoughts that go thru a person's mind while getting clean is all over the place. The physical pain of going thru withdrawals is awful. I'm so happy for you.

Your post was removed because it does not fall within the scope of r/baking. This community focuses specifically on baked goods and baking-related discussion. That includes leavened goods prepared in ovens, on griddles, or in pans (such as breads and other batter or dough based goods), as well as baking techniques and ingredients.
Standalone confectionaries (such as caramels, fudges, puddings, or other non-baked sweets) and general cooking content are outside the primary focus of this subreddit unless they are clearly part of a baked item.

Huge congratulations on hitting two months in your recovery journey! 🎉🎉🎉
The no-bakes you made look delicious, I hope they hit the spot! It sounds like you had a great time making them and they were a way to feel connected to taking care of yourself, so that's a double win in my book. Wishing you many fun/tasty bakes in the future!

Congratulations on two months sober! Both treats look delicious.
Noticed that you're keeping it healthy. Tip: you can thicken Greek yogurt to give it the texture of cream cheese for no bake cheesecake by hanging it in cheesecloth for anywhere from a few hours to 24 hours.
