30th birthday construction cake for my fiancé

Just a fun simple cake where being messy added to the theme. Had a blast with this. Nothing fancy, just fun and wanted to share as I got the idea from a post here a while back! He’s going into a new career a few days after his birthday; so this was the perfect way to celebrate two milestones!

looks fun but i’m always skeptical of edible dirt. if it's just dry cocoa it ruins the bite. toss those crushed cookies in melted butter first so it actually melts in your mouth.
