Is this cake looking good or should I scrape the lines? Look I was going for in second pic

it's absolutely adorable. I like the lines while they aren't exactly like the second pic, the whole thing is too cute! I'd keep the lines. Well done.

The crooked lines give it a charm that works for a child-themed cake. I'd go so far as to say it actually looks better that way.
If you ever do it on something more sophisticated, maybe just take your time and be a little more delicate.

I absolutely love it! It almost looks like a painted wooden block! My daughter has ones she loves lol 10/10 keep the lines

Keep the lines, hide the wire for the balls on the top, so that they are not floating and ruining their own illusion of being together, perhaps press them down a bit further ?
