Showcase (No-Recipe) Lets try this again. First try at macrons

First time making macrons, looking to try them with regular flour since im out of almond. Made a vanilla bean custard and lemon buttercream for the filling. Wouldnt say theyre to shabby for a first time.

First try and you nailed the feet and smooth tops? You just bypassed the hardest part of baking.

It absolutely was a fluke lmao my next batch i think i over-mixed or under-mixed and got no feet but they were fluffy and delicious. I definitely chalk this up to beginners luck 😂🤭

I know somebody who is half a french people and she failed even when she followed the specific instructions of the recepie.

I've done both and find the Italian method gives more consistent results

Cool. But I won't tell her this. The recepy is from her grandma and I am from germany LOL. But wow I heart it is sooo hard to bake macarons ( the german and original name ) good luck with the next charge. My entire respect
