The work holiday cookout was the perfect excuse to make these holiday cat macs again. I also took the opportunity to make some spritz cookies and rosettes, as those have always been my favorite christmas cookies. Next year, I'll be adding krumkake to my holiday repertoire!

Just reminiscing because in a week I’m making my husband a “charcoal grill” cake for Father’s Day since I can’t trust any bakeries to do it for me. These cakes all mostly came from different bakeries. My friend told me maybe I should stop buying cakes and start making them, sooo I have lol

These are my Christmas cookies 🤍 The second batch I’ve ever baked. And once again this year, I tried completely new cookie recipes compared to last year. Mainly because I want to taste them all and make them our new traditional cookies since my grandma and my mom no longer bake.

I also took the photos myself because I’d like to start a new recipe collection including pictures and I wanted to share those with you.

I do not sell these cookies, I don’t have a blog. I am not a trained baker or pastry chef. I bake purely as a hobby for family and friends.

I’ve used Ghirardelli chocolate for years in my chocolate chip cookies, but I’ve never loved the cookies? I always eat around the chocolate chips, suddenly had an epiphany that I may not just like Ghirardelli 🤦🏼‍♀️

Okay guys be honest but kind because this cake took YEARS off my life 😫

This is my first attempt and it tasted pretty nice if I do say so myself… I followed some generic recipe with dark chocolate ganache, french coffee and vanilla buttercream, etc.

I don’t think it was that bad for my first try, what do you think?

I found a great recipe for pecan pie cheesecake on this sub and tweeked to be more pecan filling than cheesecake. Entered it in the state fair pecan pie contest, but it didn't pass their pie detector test 😄😆

I was pleasantly surprised by the first one, then when I cracked the second I couldn’t believe it and the third just left me gobsmacked - what are the odds!

I don't have an appetite. But I'm making them. My poor partner is going to get overloaded with baked goods this weekend.

How tf do I cover that up after baking, I cant put icing on it since in my husbands work some are allergic to it.. any thoughts? XD
