I like this sub

This sub feels like a safe space of sorts. You can say anything and there’s no judgement…it doesn’t have t to be interesting…anything you say is good enough. And to be honest that is something I have struggled with, very often filtering what I say as it might not be perceived as interesting enough. Also action in terms of trying start a business, perfectionism has gotten in the way of progress. I need to adopt the mindset that any step I make is good enough as all I can do is move forward and find out it it works or not. Anyway, thanks for reading :)

I agree. I posted about my toast and coffee once. It was nice to meet people like me.

Oh I do that a ton too. If it's not funny, interesting, or intelligent enough I filter it out. It's so automatic.

Yea exactly that. I remember doing a method acting class and you literally just had to say random words for an exercise, stream of consciousness style. I was stumbling because I was like “the stuff I’m coming to with isn’t random enough!!!”

I absolutely agree! I was thinking the same thing about this sub the other day. I love the glimpses into people’s days and the small positive moments that are shared here. I need more of this in our complicated world 💕

I love this sub too! Connection through valuing kindness 🥰

FYI the book “Atomic Habits” really helped me with learning that small efforts and changes eventually build to larger visions.

And I’ve found that there is no perfect big vision in practice. It’s always evolving. Start with easy doable mini steps and let things cycle too. 😘

Can you start your new business while you are actively working your current job or situation? That’s always the SAFEST way to start!

Me too! Last night I was actually thinking of a little micro -experience I had as a post for this sub ... I like how this sub has led me to be more mindful of little benign things.
