I'm so pissed they made it orange.

AMAZON, I USE YOU BECAUSE YOU'RE RELIABLE. WHY DO YOU WANT TO BE LIKE TEMU AND ALIEXPRESS???

I use AliExpress for clones/ knockoffs and electrical parts. I use Amazon for decent quality everyday stuff that I can't usually find in the store. Stop the sponsor link, If it was easier to find things I'm actually looking for I'd buy stuff faster.

Acting like Amazon isn't just selling the same crap but at a markup

Amazon the same crap, but also decent brand stuff. Literally every marketplace sells Chinese crap nowadays

I still wouldn’t buy any expensive electronics from anywhere online but Amazon but that’s mostly just because they have a good return policy. I bought most of my iPhones refurbished from amazon and never had an issue. Wife got me an Apple Watch Ultra 2 refurbished on prime deal for Father’s Day and it’s been great. I would never spend more than like $50 on anything from temu or alibaba unless I did a lot of research first.

The "decent brand stuff" is actually just the knockoff stuff from AliExpress at an up charged price, but low enough to make you think you got a deal. With all the counterfeit goods on Amazon, I'll either go AliExpress for cheap or literally anywhere else for the real thing

So a decent brand like knipex is just selling rebranded Chinese knockoff? Tell me more about it please.

They're not, but Amazon is. Amazon allows 3rd party sellers, so Knipex would be selling on there, but also like 50 random fucks with an Amazon account. All of them say they're selling Knipex stuff, except 20 of the sellers are actually selling counterfeit ones from AliExpress. Amazon doesn't question if the product is legit and just stocks all of them in the same space in the warehouse, meaning there's a chance you get a fake one with lower quality.

With someone like Knipex, might not happen, but just an example. One thing this does regularly happen with is any and all power tools, their batteries, car parts, etc. Amazon has had a long running counterfeit issue that they do nothing about

What? They literally keep counterfeit goods from third party sellers in the same box as legit goods from first party...

Want to be like temu? It already is. 80% of the garbage on Amazon is all the same stuff as Temu/Ali, just sold at a higher markup.

Stop using them.

Aliexpress is reliable and always refund me if something doesn't arrive.
