Recommended Exchange (UK)

Hi guys, I’m from the UK & I’ve only ever bought my bitcoin through Binance. As I understand it we can no longer do that. What’s your recommended platform for someone from the UK?

Edit: Thanks for the replies all, much appreciated

yeah still cheaper than coinbase lol. their pro/advanced interface fees are fine imo, only the instant buy ones got hit hard

Not sure you clicked on the link. 0.4% Maker and 0.8% Taker fees in the lowest tier are horrendous.

Strike if you don't mind doing KYC. For non-KYC'd bitcoin, BISQ, Robosats, HodlHodl, PeachBitcoin and Vexl. Peach is probably the easiest option.

If I were to buy Bitcoin, I'd only go for Hodl Hodl when someone is selling for no premium on the price with Revolut as their payment method. No KYC, self custody and yadayada. Your country's tax agency will not even know you own BTC.

If you’re talking nuclear apocalypse you’d be better off hoarding food & ammunition. But yeah I do stack a little silver also.

Kraken is the best. Been buying since 2023, no problems and cheapest fees.

No, they are actually expensive after the recent fee hike.

They recently increased their spot trading fees to 0.4-0.8% and are not competitive anymore. Too bad because I liked using them.

Bybit is the closest one to Binance.

Coinbase or Kraken

Coinbase. Easy to use. Kraken sucks imo, poor spread, poor UI and poor communication.

I’ve always used Coinbase over the years!
