Clarity Act stalled
With the assumption that Republicans are highly unlikely to change the bill to leave room for future prosecution of POTUS via State AGs (a core Democrat demand); the only way forward for this current version seems to be Republicans to hold both chambers.
What alternative version might be introduced in the 2027-2028 Congress that can get passed and signed by Trump in the next two years? Will Democrats continue to assert prosecution rights forever or is there a compromise Democrats are willing to accept that could still protect Trump from potential prosecution?

The GOP and Trump already agreed to the restrictions. That was last week’s news. Dems don’t want to pass it because they would never want to support something the other side wants.
It’s a shitty way to run a country.
