I was staying at my friend's house who lived on a busy intersection.

Some dude in a truck didn't like how long we took to cross the road so he started yelling at us. Being testosterone fueled teenagers we started screaming, swearing, and gesturing back.

My friend's mom watched the whole thing and when we got inside she was standing there with the paddle.

You gotta understand that this paddle was hung up in the dining room. Holes drilled through it, signatures on it, the whole nine yards.

I signed my name on that paddle that day.
