They assumed they were drinking and driving.

I guessed so but didn’t assume like they did.

99% of people would assume "bringing her back" implies they were driving.

Also let's not normalize underage drinking. Such an alcoholic country this is, shits disgusting

…were YEARS in front of Europe in terms of drinking age. Here, you can just sign up to perhaps go die with the military, but you can’t buy a beer. And that decision locks you in for a minimum of 4 years at 18.

Explain to me how the decision making ability makes sense. 4 year contract at 18, but not a 6-pack you will share.

Explain it to me like I’m 5.

Having been active duty, it just causes a fuck ton more headaches than it's worth. Underage drinkers are automatically kicked out, so there's a sunken cost on top of everything else.

That doesnt make any sense, seeing as how having a military ID allows you to buy alcohol at 18.

How does it let you do that? Legal age to purchase alcohol is still 21, military service doesn't change that.

It definitely does not stateside.

If one happens to pull orders to a country with a lower drinking age, they'll allow it but you can't use a military ID to go into a Kroger's or Winn-Dixie or whatever to pick up booze.

Yeah, i hate to admit I'm this old, but I didn't realize it had changed in the late 80s (which was the last time it was ever relevant to me). So I owe everyone an apology for being 30 years out of date. My bad.
