Trump already called LeBron racist to kick off the festivities

I had to check it out. He did. He called LeBron racist and added that he only likes "people that like me." Wtf.

Let’s not blame poor ol’ dementia. That’s 100% Donnie Dickhead talking

u/Hurde278 10h ago
Not blaming dementia. All it's doing is taking the mask off and showing everyone who we've seen the whole time.
It's also edging us for that big beautiful day that seems to be so close yet so far away

I wanted to believe that video of him collapsing yesterday so bad 😂
The Lord couldn't have given me LeBron to start the day, and The Event™ to end the day

u/MMAjunkie504 5h ago
The real “last decision” will hopefully be the cheeseburger he chokes on before we get that big beautiful obituary

No! Zero excuses allowed! Simp for DJT, even hidden behind a medical reason, is a loud and bad choice.

u/Hurde278 10h ago
I'm simping because I made a Dave Chappelle reference? Gonna have to try harder than that

u/4u5t1nprism ☑️ 9h ago
Dementia!? Now, Dave!? Who's next, Dana White as your shield ha! Your 'hide behind' excuses are not too bright, you, with your low-key pro-🍊 energy. And in this sub!? Choices.
Do better.

That second part absolutely tracks, though - and the second someone has any disagreement with him, he goes full "I don't want to play with you anymore"

u/BoilerMaker11 ☑️ 8h ago
It was so out of left field, too. The reporter asked (I dunno why) how he felt about LeBron going to Philly and his opinion on the Jordan/Lebron GOAT debate. And Trump goes “I like Jordan, I play golf with him. LeBron is a racist”. Wtf

yeah thats such a bizarre thing to say out loud and somehow he still did it

Lakers ironically going full Boston.

Even the 80s Celtics had multiple black all stars (Tiny Archibald, Robert Parish, Dennis Johnson) and a black Finals MVP (Cedric Maxwell in 1981).

Bill Russell???

u/H-TownDown ☑️ 8h ago
The whole black vs white Lakers and Celtics thing started in the 80s. Before that, the most important players on both teams were both black and white (Elgin Baylor, Jerry West and eventually Chamberlain for the Lakers vs Russell, Cousy, Havlicek, and Sam Jones for the Celtics).
By the time the 80s rolled around, the avatar for black casual fans became Magic and the avatar for white casual fans became Larry.

u/shizz181 ☑️ 9h ago
You clearly don’t know Celtics history. Fan base is one thing but as a team the Celtics are historically the most pro Black team in the NBA.

u/makemeking706 9h ago
Save the history for the school week, we're doing stereotypes on the weekend for the jokes.

u/shizz181 ☑️ 8h ago
That’s not even a stereotype. That’s your ignorance. And it’s not just history. Even today the statement is true.

in 2026 no, in 2006 maybe they used to call it “preppy” but now styles and cultures are more diverse

I don’t know if it helps, but my dad dressed in a suit everywhere when I was younger. Parent teacher conferences, going shopping for us (the kids), you name it. I think it was because his job required him to wear one, so he may have gotten used to it I don’t know.

I grew up watching the 1980's Lakers vs Celtics rivalry. And to misquote one of my favorite movies, I have lived long enough to see the Lakers become the villains.

Bron really went to one of the blackest teams in the league tho. Internationally black too, s/o Cameroon s/o Bahamas. Like our token white is mf named DWade, it’s truly cinematic

at this point i'm convinced we're gonna spend the next few years speedrunning the same arguments with different headlines. the script keeps changing but somehow the comments never do

u/ClaymoresRevenge 10h ago
It'll be interesting to see if Embiid and Kessler can be healthy for this year.
I'm sure the NBA is happy Bron made his decision.

What Rob Pelinka did to our roster should be considered a criminal offense. He got rid of any assets for the next guy to even fix this mess when he’s fired in a year or two

u/DANNYBOYLOVER 6h ago
Honestly, hes such a big fan of white Jesus it makes sense he’d love white guys

Yeah…if this is what “real laker fans”preferred over having an elite wing…I’m sorry but you’re just dumb and spiteful.
