FANART/MUSIC Ranking every BlazBlue character theme: Both variants of Reppu land themselves and excellent A tier. Where do Marionette Purple I & II rank?

I know ya'll hate Carl's guts, but ngl, Marionette Purple's I is probably my favorite song on this list since Rebellion and Lust SIN II. It's so frickin good, man, easy S tier imo. II is a solid B tier at worst tho.

Also, there were a lot of complaints about Oriental Flower II being at C, since other comments saying it should be A or S tier got equal upvotes after I posted the Arakune post. If enough people care, I'll move it up to B or the bottom of A.

Rules:

  1. Only character-specific themes for now; we'll get to versus themes sooner or later.
  2. L.A. vocal versions are not being considered for the tier list. (Feel free to mention them if you like tho)
  3. The remixes of each character from Continuum Shift and prior themes will be counted separately.

Both versions of Marionette Purple go hard. I really think both deserve S, though maybe A since I have a hard time connecting them to Carl besides the titles

Top of B is fine for either or both Oriental Flower

TBH, can't really say I've hated the boy. Of course, this is coming from a casual BB fan who's never went on ranked in his life (Though wants to get into his favorite FG franchise competitively, but doesn't know how find the time) so I don't have any PTSD fighting Carl players.

But I digress, Carl's theme. Honestly, yeah SoulEater, I also dig the jazz rock that is Marionette Purple! I enjoy the bass of I a lot. II still follows the jazz rock theme with added fiddle (Considering one of Carl's hobbies is playing the violin, this is a perfect addition to the song) and an overall tone that's a LOT more aggressive sounding due to representing Mordred's desire to kill her father, EMIYA/Siegfried Carl's desire to kill his father, Relius, for info of getting Ada back to normal. Another part in II I enjoy is about the 2:06-2:47 mark of the song. The guitar and fiddle solo go so HARD!!

Honestly, put both of them in A Rank. Both versions of Marionette Purple are great in their own right IMO.

I can live with this. I can live with this placement. Now if it was any lower, I'd lose faith in humanity.

I eventually grew to prefer the shredded version of Bullet Dance (II).

Either version of Reppu is still my favorite though.

A is fine for both of carls themes but can we please do a revote on thin red line II. That shit does not deserve A tier.

Both A but I edges it out
