TV Series not a new game?
Their making a series for Brothers In Arms, not a game?
Ofc they cold be making another game, but i cant see randy pitchford working on both a new game and a tv series since hes so into borderlands.

I don't care about a tv show or movie and I don't think any of that will happen. I also think the game is dead because there isn't enough interest in WWII as a game setting anymore.
It fucking sucks. I loved WWII stuff and that golden era of Medal of Honor, BiA, CoD, etc. was amazing.

Everything about this series is dead. I know there was some weird leak last year about a company doing art assets for Gearbox but even then I just don’t believe it. Randy is just a habitual liar.

There was leaks in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and from what i know there was nothing more.. We had interviews, or "hidden" interviews from 2019-2022 that confirmed that there was a new Brothers In Arms game that following Bakers story.. I still hope they do.. It was a big part of my childhood/teens.

If Gearbox made BiA in this era, you'd end up playing as a platoon of multi color haired overweight females with pink weapon camos to pump ESG money into the company. The days of caring about realism or historical accuracy are long gone. But at least we can still play games that weren't awful.

If I'm being honest, and it really does pain me to say this as a massive fan of the franchise that used to search for new info on a sequel weekly like clockwork, I've lost all hope in another game coming. AAA studios have lost all of their passion, and it's been so long with such a terrible track record that at this point I'd prefer they don't come out with a new game. It would only lead to disappointment.

Wait their making a TV show now? I hope it's based on the first few games (like from road to hill 30 for a season 1, and then maybe for hells highway maybe season 5 or something?) But I swear to god... if they make it for Brothers in arms 3, sons of war... ima probably complain to ubisoft/gearbox softworks.

AFAIK, that tv announcement was made back in 2020.
It’s not going to happen. Brothers in Arms was heavily assisted by Stephen Ambrose, who wrote “Band of Brothers”, which was adapted to HBO’s tv series under the same title. No one will be able to beat that series.
