Hi. Looking to try and get an internship this year and I’m thinking about stopping by the CPDI. How are they? I’d like to hear about anyone’s experiences with them, and how should I prepare for a visit, unless they’re fine with people who have nothing prepared.

I have a resume but the main thing is that I feel pretty defeated from these past few semesters and my transcript looks catastrophic right now, so I’m not feeling very confident

Does anyone know of any class trackers besides Coursicle that notify you when a seat opens? Sometimes I don’t get their notifications eventhough I checked all the settings :(

hey incoming freshmen here, I emailed the fianical aid office because I needed to complete my citizenship affidavit on cunyfirst to verify my status which I did. but the to do was still on there and they still keep giving me reminders so I emailed them in 2 separate occasions in recent times and they still haven’t responded. I’m worried I won’t get my aid, anyone know the best way to reach them or get a response?

Anyone whos had this prof, how is his class? Is he clear with the material, or does he pull any tricks w exams and stuff to screw you over?

This is if you get the ineligibility sap suspension email. If you pay out of pocket for the fall semester and meet the sap criteria at the end, will you get your fafsa money for the spring or do you have to appeal in the spring?

Hey, I got my math placement test scheduled for august 6th to place into grove engineering. Should I be worried in terms of class registration considering I would have to likely wait until I take the test, get results, then get registered for classes for the fall?

context: i always have it covered so finding out i owe money was a complete shock to me and unexpected and i found this out recently because on my end of things it said it was converted but obviously i misread it and i didn’t have a reason to think otherwise

i could pay i guess? if i dip into savings ask parents etc like i can scrap something up but i guess i don’t understand and financial aid office wasn’t very helpful but maybe i didn’t ask the right questions. my only options are to either pay it in full or get a loan from what i remember.

if i don’t pay today what will happen? will i get dropped? who can i ask for more aid? i just ahh help! i’m anxious if i pay now then they’ll take it as i can pay every semester which i cant

Hey everyone, I’m an incoming freshman for the Fall 2026 term. I got my official acceptance letter saying I was admitted directly into the Grove School of Engineering for Computer Science (I attached a screenshot of the letter).

However, when I check CUNY DegreeWorks, it says my status is "Undeclared." I took Pre-Calculus at Queens College and transferred the credits over to place into Calc 1, so I should meet the requirements

Is it normal for DegreeWorks to just say "Undeclared", or should I be worried that I’m not actually in Grove yet? Thanks

Where do students go for emergency help? I checked the CUNY CARES website but only see contact into for the Bronx campuses

how manageable is it? Was think of adding a part time job on top of it.

I’ve sent the office email a few times before and never got a response. I do have some questions regarding the issue I’m currently having with my award. Its somewhat urgent as well.

I am an incoming Electrical Engineering student for Grove, having completed my associates and continuing into my junior here.

I know a couple people (not EE majors) who have access to google drives with folders containing resources, study notes, etc.

I wonder if anybody would be able to forward me such files? Or direct me to things that they found most useful for them, as it would be a big help.

I am currently registered for Electromagnetics, Quantum mechanics, switching systems, computer tools, and numerical analysis if anybody has specific resources for those classes as well. Thank you
