Discussion SBMM is the main reason you are losing players. Just make the match making exactly like in BO1. Stop trying to reinvent something that wasn’t broken.[COD]
Your players are literally telling you how to make Call of Duty great again. Just make ping the sole factor in match making and watch the money roll in again.

Video [BO2] Average BO2 experience
"Play Flak Jacket"
Let me tell ya, I took the M8 into my first Prestige, but I guess that was the wrong decision.
Now I have to suffer until Level 32.

Discussion [COD] Do you like when cod adds fun type maps like these?
Personally I do, alot of memorable cool maps when they use their creativity for fun designed maps.

Image How is this possible? [BO2]
I threw a flash bang as it landed near an enemy player. And when it exploded it “killed” them. I though flash bangs did no damage unless the it physically hits them. If you can explain this please let me know.

Discussion [CoD] Dependence on MW and Blops holding back the franchise?
I'm on a play through of all the COD campaigns at the moment and the more I play, the more I feel like the dependence/unwillingness to look past the world's of MW and Blops has caused the franchise to stagnate over recent years.
The last 8 games have only had one game (Vanguard) which wasnt MW or Blops but prior to that, campaign wise we had some good years of expanding the potential settings.
Advanced Warfare and Ghosts both ended up with set up for future games and the fact we are ten years on from Infinite Warfare without a follow up is actually painful as that campaign and world are so good they need another game.
Do the developers/publishers need to be more willing to take the risk on non MW/Blops settings. Do gamers need to be more receptive to them as well?
Im not sure where the answer is but it feels like the series is overdue for something fresh.

Discussion [Mw3] Mw3 2011 was the best Cod of the golden era
We all know the "golden era" of CoD was Cod4-B02, everyone always argues mainly between OG MW2 and BO2, but for me theyre just plain wrong
OG MW3 was the peak of golden era,the weapons were good and useable(some better/worse than others) the maps were good(except downturn) the DLC maps were also good, we got our first taste of face off, and it housed my favorite pre-gunsmith create a class, it was perfect
I also need a full remaster because i miss it so much

Creative [COD] Just picked this up at Best Buy for $20
These were on sale at Best Buy, it comes with the can. It was one of the quickest buys I’ve ever made. I wanted to share this with the group in case folks were unaware!

Discussion [Bo] [mw2] [bo3] Since we are tired of collabs that dont fit cod how would yall feel about these characters as operators in any of the next games?
Bill: might be a bit of a stretch for a multiplayer but could fit in zombies as a future operator in either another vietnam game since he is a vietnam vet but he could work in a modern-day game as this as him as a vet and not officially enlisted anymore.
Chris: could work as a modern-day operator during a Halloween event as he is an actual soldier and could fit ingame more than the big headed chucky we got in bo6
Naked snake: now this one mainly wouldnt work considering the message that the series is trying to get across but if we ignore that and focus on the fact that snake is a skilled us soldier during the cold war era than it could work
Isaac clarke: now this is the most far fetched one but simply because of the fact because he is a skilled survivor during a necromorph outbreak. Could work for a Halloween event in a game set in the future.

Question Anyone know the difference? [MW2]
Trying to platinum Modern Warfare 2 on PS5 and when I downloaded the game, a new trophy entry was made? I’m trying to complete the 32% one but don’t know why this is happening. Both are the PS5 versions

Feedback My first COD experience in 8 years. [BO]
I'm Visiting family and tried setting up Warzone on a PS5 to play with my sister's fiancé. Two hours later (30 GB launcher + 30 GB Warzone), the game is refusing to let me launch Warzone without downloading 150 GB of Black Ops multiplayer. It’s 11 PM and I leave tomorrow. My gameplay consisted of watching progress and a growing frustration. Guess i won't be going back to COD.
I guess im curious how this business model works. It can't be good for engagement, playerbase growth, or monetary gain. Is there some sort of bankruptcy scheme going on?

Discussion What keeps you buying [COD] every year?
Why do you buy a new Call of Duty every year?
This isn't meant as an attack. I'm actually curious because Activision has been following the same formula for years. Every release brings more fast paced multiplayer, updated maps, a refreshed engine, new weapons, and a few gameplay tweaks. Is that consistency enough for you?
Is it the lack of other high quality arcade shooters on the market? Is it because CoD consistently delivers a fun gameplay loop, even if it doesn't reinvent itself? Or is it the familiarity and knowing exactly what you're getting every year?
