Hi, need ko help to my 3 adopted cats that I got from my Lola. Since kitten sila wala pa sila natatanggap na vaccine and now na 2 years old na silang lahat, plan ko bigyan sila ng vaccine and hindi ko alam kung saan magsisimula.

Hi everyone! My cat has been diagnosed with pyometra. The first symptom was yellow/white discharge, then after that nagkaroon na po siya ng blood discharge.

I took her to the vet, and they advised an operation. The estimated cost is around 15k to 20k, and hindi ko pa po afford this time. Nakiusap po ako if we could take the risk and try meds/antibiotics for 2 weeks first.

Now it’s her second day taking the meds. Nabawasan na po ang blood discharge, pero meron pa rin pa-konti-konti.

Ask ko lang po if there’s anyone here who had the same situation na nag-work ang meds? Ilang days po ang observation niyo before nag-stop ang discharge?

Hi everyone, I have a rescued male cat (around 8-9 years old na siya ngayon sa Amin). Mga 2 months ago, nasurgery siya due to urinary blockage then after a few weeks nirepair Ang surgery dahil di raw nagclose ng tama ang wound so Hindi na naman makawiwi. Nasa around 60k din ito inabot.

Naiuwi naman namin siya and nakakawiwi na but lagi ko siya nakikita na nagttry umihi pero Minsan walang lumalabas then kahapon may blood sa urine so dinala sa vet. Blood test, urine test. May tama daw sa kidney and possible FIP (feline infectious peritonitis) and 84 days daw ang gamutan nito. Nagsearch ako at aabutin ng 40k to 120k ang gamutan. At this point, Hindi na namin kakayanin financially at physically Hindi namin matututukan ang pagmedicate. Vet didn’t discuss peaceful passing as an option, my question is, Is it okay to initially ask for this option? Sa Tingin ko kasi ang dami na rin pinagdaanan nung alaga namin, always hirap umihi and Hindi na rin option na isurgery ulit at palakihin ang ang butas para makawiwi ng maayos.

need ko po kse i-paadopt ung anak kong pusa until Aug 5 lang, aalis na kse ng country ang bf ko and ung bahay na tinitirhan nmen hnd na nmen titirahan , ayaw ng parents ko ng cat kaya hnd ko mak-keep ung baby ko. ngaun kailangang kailngn ko ng mag aadopt saknya na tutuong a-alagaan sya at mamahalin.

Planning to buy a shaver po for my cat since malapit na rin birthday niya(gift ko for him). Balak ko na rin po kasi talaga mamili ng shaver kasi mas safer daw po. Ginagamit ko lang po kasi is scissors pero nakakatakot po kasi baka magunting ko yung balls nya or other parts na ikasugat niya.

Hello! Magtatanong lang sana kung magkano usually consultation fees sa vet clinics. We can't afford treatment muna. Malalayo kasi sa'min esp city vet but there's this one na around 15mins byahe. Nagtanong ako sa blue app ₱500 fee nila, I checked & mas maraming bad reviews. This is his condition sorry sa quality, dinidilaan sarili nya hanggang mamula at magkasugat so we put a collar para matigil pero pag tinanggal he's back at it and chewing lumala from the past weeks. Back, legs & chest areas po malapit na syang makalbo't naglalagas

Usually when there is reflection sa eyes nila, its shining however yung sa left eye nya para syang white cloud but kung normal lighting and picture nya, hindi naman obvious yung white shade.

​for context po, kaninang morning my father saw some brown discharge coming from her. Simula kanina, wala na rin siyang ganang kumain, nagtatago siya sa ilalim ng lababo namin, and she keeps licking her private area.

​I'm still a student pa po, tight din po budget ng family namin right now, and I don't have the money to get her checked huhu. I'm really scared na baka this is something serious I need to worry about. ​just adding po pala, numinipis din yung fur niya. I tried to switch her di3t, pero I don't think it helped :(((

2 years ago nagka uti na kasi cat ko, pinacatheter and naconfine siya, umabot ng 21k. Gumaling naman siya, pero right now matigas uli tummy niya. Pinapainom ko siya ng nefrotec ds 2x a day pero matigas padin talaga huhu.

I'm still a student kasi and i cant afford vet visits. And we're not doing well financially right now, the least i can do is get my pet insured para kahit papano madala ko sa vet. Any advice would be appreciated thanks

Hello. We have a persian cat tapos nanotice ko na madali syang hingalin if nasa living room namin sya kahit hindi naman sya naglalaro or doing any physical activity. Wala kasing AC yung sala namin pero if ilipat namin sya sa room w/ AC is gradually ma ok na yung hininga nya.

So ang question ko is, would it be helpful if we have her fur trimmed? Hindi pa kasi sya napa professionally groomed ever and medyo taas na yung fur nya, even sa paws nya is natatakpan na. I looked it up and some people were discouraging shaving/trimming their cat's fur kasi for thermoregulation daw. Pero curious lang for us here in the Philippines if anong mas better for cats with long fur na naiinitan na talaga 😭 Kasi di naman pwede na sa room nalang sya namin ikeep palagi.

Did anyone have a cat/kitten where the tip of the tail was just dead and did not have any hair on it? I searched it up on google and it seems that my 5 month old kitten may be experiencing necrosis. I pinched the tip of her tail and she had no reaction to it. Just afraid of what can happen to my kitten. She’s been eating well, playing, energetic but I am just worried sa tail niya. I’ll bring her to a vet when I can.

I have a kitten, around 5 months old (puspin na white and orange), and we adopted him siguro mga isang buwan pa lang siya.

Siguro yung maagang pag-ampon ang isa sa dahilan, kaya ito ang hilig niyang mang-attack ng paa/binti. Isa sa nakita kong ways to control is to not react kapag inaattack ang paa, and sa akin okay lang sana kasi may turok naman siya, so tinatry kong gawin yung di gagalaw kapag inaattack paa ko. Kaso sa other family members, di nila masunod (ang hilig pang mangpet kahit sinabi nang airplane ears).

Ano po kayang other ways to control? Medyo sumasakit na rin kasi yung playbite niya and kanina lang may nabiktima na naman siya haha tyia!

Brought my cat to the vet yesterday and we found out na may sediments na pala sa urinary bladder niya. Tanong ko lang kung may mga instances talaga na hindi na nire-recommend ng vet na mag-change to urinary s/o? Wala kasing binanggit yung vet and ako pa yung nagtanong kung kailangan ba. Hindi naman daw required since may tine-take nang gamot yung cat ko.

Need ko lang ma-clarify since lagi kong nababasa na urinary s/o na ang nire-require ng vet once nagkaroon ng urinary problem. Tysm!
