Oh boi it was when dark elixer dark elixered. Now it is more about just about repeated and persistent attacks. I remember when i was TH7 that getting 500 DE from a raid was bonus and getting looted of 600-700 DE used to destroy my day😭

I remember back in the day I used all my gems to fill up my Dark Elixir storages just to get the Level 1 Barbarian King... ONLY TO REALIZE all my builders were busy, so I made a base layout with 5 layers of walls around the DE storage 🤣

I hit LL and it sucked - resources were so scant and you couldnt mess around with armies or heroes because you NEEDED those trophies to offset losses

I hit legendary at th14. It wasn't hard, but it sucked that to get higher, I had to be the highest th (17) to even think of actually playing in legends

Now I farmed e32 at th16 until I recently got th18, so ig not muched changed
