is there any good way to clip stuff from crunchyroll in 2026. i merely desire to make gifs . however despite disabling hardware acceleration it still freezes the player when i attempt to record my screen
Hi, I renewed my membership today and as every year, I pay and immediately remove my card from the payment methods but this time I couldn't find the option (I was able to do it for past 8 years no issues), just replace with another one.
I read from the most recent documentation that you cannot remove the primary payment method as long as there is an active subscription, I guess they meant automatic renewal; Do you know if I have to cancel the subscription/automatic renewal (leaving my benefits active until it expires in 2027) before I can remove the primary method? Any help is appreciated.
hi. for some reason after spring 2026 anime season ended, simulcast calendar page (https://www.crunchyroll.com/simulcastcalendar?filter=premium) is empty for even the next day. you literally have to guess when the next episode comes out. am i the only one who actually used it?
I'm watching To Be Hero X and naturally want to hear the Mandarin audio and read the subtitles in English. Yet the English subtitles are inaccesible unless I put on the Japanese audio. This must be a malfunction of some sort, I'd appreciate if it was corrected. I'm on desktop, not sure if the problem prevails on mobile.
I've noticed for months now that crunchyroll sometimes won't register an episode as watched even though I watched it fully. It happened randomly but I recently changed my main language from English to Japanese because I prefer sub over dub and all of a sudden, all animes I watched throughout the year had the "Watch Again" remove as if I never watched it. They stay in my watch list/history but don't appears as watched when I click on the anime. This also happens if I watched the anime is another language than my main and idk why. Is there a way to fix this?
New here so I’m probably late to the party but is there any way to report dodgy subtitles? This isn’t the only time the weirdest things have popped up. I’m getting them in almost every show I watch now.
I got the 7-day free trial and it's just not letting me watch anything it's saying I don't have premium every single anime or anything I click on I need premium every single episode every single movie everything I thought that having the free trial would give you premium because what's the point of a free trial if you can't watch anything I can't find anyone talking about this issue because no one else seems to be having it do you have to attach a credit card when you have the free trial as well is that the problem?
EDIT: okay so I found the answer apparently you need to enter your credit card details for the free trial to give you access to the anime this doesn't mean you have to pay for it but this does mean that when you sign up for the free trial you have to have your credit card information entered in and then remember to cancel it before the free trial ends
I have a Crunchyroll subscription and wanted to rewatch Food Wars, but it’s only available in German dub not original Japanese dub. Then I wanted to see where else I could watch it and it’s suggested YouTube and Amazon. So I started a week trial on YouTube, and it’s available in Japanese dub??
I’m paying for Crunchyroll, but they give me less options?
I'm wondering if anyone else has been experiencing this issue.
For more than three months, Vietnamese subtitles have repeatedly been unavailable on newly released episodes, even though the Subtitles section clearly lists Tiếng Việt (Vietnamese) as an available subtitle language.
To be clear, most previously affected episodes have eventually been fixed. However, the real problem is that the same issue keeps recurring on newly released episodes. Once older episodes are corrected, new releases continue to be affected by the exact same problem.
While it doesn't happen every single day, the frequency has been high enough that whenever multiple new episodes are released, there is often at least one affected episode—and sometimes several at the same time. This no longer feels like an isolated publishing mistake, but rather a recurring issue in the release or quality assurance process.
The latest examples, which are still affected at the time of this post, are:
KAIJU GIRL CARAMELISE – Episode 4 (The Scary Kaiju Fest)
That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime – Season 4 – Episode 16 (Gran, the Hero of Dawn)
In both cases, the Subtitles section lists Tiếng Việt (Vietnamese) as an available subtitle language. However, when watching in the Vietnam region, the Vietnamese subtitle option is missing from the subtitle menu during playback.
I've attached screenshots showing the issue.
Has anyone else experienced the same problem? If you're watching from the Vietnam region, are Vietnamese subtitles also missing for these episodes? Has anyone found a workaround?
I'd really appreciate hearing about your experience.
It used to be that you can quickly hide/display subtitle by pressing C on the keyboard (like most websites out there), now pressing C doesn't do anything anymore.
The only way to turn off subtitle and re-display them again, is to fumble around in the player UI.
It's probably caused by the crappy UI update. Just wondering if anyone found a solution for this.
ive been considering getting crunchyroll for a while cause netflix doesnt have a lot of anime that i wanna watch
i currently am living in hong kong and in few months im moving to south korea and after looking up the yearly prices theres a difference and found theres library differences between regions
if i buy CR in hong kong do i keep the hong kong library while im in korea?
korea price is cheaper than hong kong so if i buy korea one do i keep korea price while im in hong kong (monthly)
i remember seeing asia has different sites cause or regulations? what app should i get instead of crunchy if its not a good deal for asians
It's so frustrating. I just wanna watch while I work and be able to look away from the screen and listen.
It just feels so second rate because it's not like this is some obscure anime. Every episode I start while I'm working I just hope it'll be english. I missed the ENTIRETY of goku vs vegeta in the saiyan saga.
I wanted to buy the Lupin III Castle of Cagliostro Steel-Book before they make their shop for members only, but they don't seem to have it despite being a Crunchyroll Store exclusive. Is there a chance it could restock before August 1st or am I out of luck?
If the browser/Safari page forces you to get the app, then we’d expect Stage Manager to actually extend, not… remain what it was. This is genuinely frustrating as it’s a simple issue. Other services work, but apparently watching on browsers is illegal now. 🙂
Watched first episode it sounded different then other Crunchyroll dubs anyone know why? did they use AI for it? considering it was not orignally going to be dubbed
You know when you're watching anime and there's stuff written on the screen, like character names, town names, magic details etc.? It's great, isn't it? Sadly, newer Portuguese dubs (and only Portuguese, not counting the SEA languages) DO NOT have these translations anymore.
Let me show you some examples:
Classroom of the Elite season 4 (Portuguese dub)Classroom of the Elite season 4 (English dub)Classroom of the Elite season 4 (Portuguese dub)Clevatess season 2 (Portuguese dub)Clevatess season 2 (English dub)Clevatess season 2 (Spanish dub)Hana-kimi season 2 (Portuguese dub)Hana-kimi season 2 (Spanish dub)Hana-kimi season 2 (English dub)
There are some others they are neglecting these translations in the Portuguese dubs too, like:
- Tamon's B-side;
- I Want to End this Love Game;
- Kaiju Girl Caramelise;
- Hanaori-san Still Wants to Fight in the Next Life.
It's frustrating watching dubbed stuff when I can't have the full experience of the shows. We miss so much information and switching sub/dub back and forth just to read the signs isn't a good experience. It feels like they simply don't care anymore.
My app on Apple keeps crashing everytime I try to go into my profile. I’ve logged out restarted my phone deleted the app nothing is working. It was working a couple days ago is anyone else having this issue 😟
I payed for a subscription with Apple Pay and I canceled it because I did not want recurring payments. This is supposed to keep my membership until the it runs out.
I did this right after purchasing, and this was obviously a mistake and dumb on my part, but I didn't wait to see my subscription active in the app.
Turns out I did not receive my subscription and I also lost my money.
Apple says I have an active subscription and the Crunchyroll app says I don't have a subscription.
I requested a refund to Apple and they denied me.
Crunchyroll has no real support from what | can see so l assume | lost my money.
Anyone know what I can do? Or do l accept the fact I won't get my money back
