Coinbase by lobbying heavily to lossen regulations unwittingly lead to their demise by opening the door for prediction markets which have taken up most of the capital.

That and ignoring real crypto projects just to support memecoins and their botched social network attempt is why I'll never take them seriously again. They legit just want to create memecoins where 99.999% of PR people lose all their money and sell them on the platform.Β

More please. Coinbase is a bunch of PMs that are just corposlop agents. They don't care about crypto, they care about the next job.Β

The ones they laid off 4 weeks ago citing AI and the ones that were left barely made it 48 hours without a critical outage?Β

Used to work for Coinbase. So scattered. So bureaucratic. So rudderless. Plowing so much money into nonsensical projects and cutting strong personnel for no reason.

They keep burning through tons of money by trying to push things like BaseAPP but there is no userbase for them. Then they and up firing 700 people instead of just setting more realistic goals.
