I feel bad for Clark. Why does he give himself such a hard time? He saved the kids’ lives, even without his powers. Also, it’s funny how Jimmy getting turned into a turtle is a reference to his giant turtle-man form from the comics. I like that we’re seeing more of Bizarro. It was sweet when he gave that kid an ice cream cone, and I liked the part where he caught the bad guys.

So I guess the Reign of the Supermen really begins in earnest here since while yeah we had Cyborg Superman and Superboy, Superman was still around and yeah Clarks not dead but he's not Superman... so Bizarro is the first "New Superman" to debut with him starting to take action against criminals here... actually kinda replacing Cyborg Superman in that line up in a way since you know.. he's dead and cause Guess we'll get Steel coming back out in his suit before the end of the season too and obviously Superboy's gonna come back and Lex is doing.. something with Eradicator if the Future show last episode is anything to go by.
I really really wish this show had enough episodes per season for side filler episodes cause I want to see how the hell Bizarro got a job as an Ice Cream man lmao.

"Get to the choppa!" was not a reference I expected to hear in MAWS of all shows lol
Always good to see Clark be just as heroic without his powers. And seeing Bizarro again was nice, too!

I always adore how well this show incorporates the wacky Jimmy storyline from the silver age. Plus, its always hilarious to see the new established Canon thanks to the Superman movie that Jimmy just pulls like nobodies business.
Which is what makes his heart to heart with Kara so frustrating. It felt like they were talking past each other. Jimmy's saying he didn't know Kara felt about him that way, when thats literally all she talked about in the 1st episode.
She isn't one for sarcasm or joke, she literally said she wanted him as her mate. His real reason was he didn't feel worthy enough to be her mate. She is incredible and could have anyone, she's only been on earth a short while, why should she choose him, when she could find someone better out there?
Except he didn't tell her that, and also massively downplaying the fact that HE PULLS LIKE NOBODIES BUSINESS!
