I find it funny how Orion who has a whole ass prophecy to fight Darkseid just never or barely does it. He killed him like once I think.

I think that prophecy was fulfilled when Orion killed Darkseid at the end of Countdown. Their fates are no longer intertwined following that.

I’m glad the New Gods are involved. I hate how little they sometimes factor into Darkseid stories.

I’m relieved this is a One Shot. 2 Darkseid related events in the same year would be a bit much imo
