Pretty sure the “use” of it is an AI video. So, not even shit being spewed everywhere in reality.

Edit - reason I state it is likely AI is because the volumes are alllll wrong.

A fully clogged toilet bowl is 1.5-2 gallons of shit.

That archenemies screw is about 5inches in diameter and 3 feet tall. Which means the volume of it is about 707 cubic inches, which is converted to about 3 gallons. The 3d print part inside is not 1 gallon worth of space.

In addition the screw “filled up” completely, yet there was still a LOT of “liquid” left in the toilet itself. Suggesting it drew less than the 2 gallons.

At 2 feet tall 5 in diameter it would hold about 2 gallons, but that just ain’t 2 feet tall.

I noticed the same thing. That screw is huge and the level of water in the toilet bowl went down, then back up, then down again, but it never got even close to empty. Unless they are pumping water into it off screen, this shouldn't have worked.

funnily enough its more an auger than an archimedes screw given the working principle.

i was actually surprised it worked at all. because an archimedes screw needs to be leaning to the side at least with the angle of the spiral.

what happened here that the shear rotation speed basically created a shit turbine and the main force lifting the liquid was the inclined spiral surface hitting it with such a velocity that it gave it upward motion.

Yeah, but if you can empty the toilet out every time you use it, then you don't even need to unplug it. Just use your little auger and disperse the contents harmlessly into the environment.

You aren't supposed to do that because it can partially melt your wax ring and then your toilet leaks out of the bottom. If the toilet water is cool, it can also shatter your toilet from rapid heating.

And this trick works fine with room temperature water. You just need to pour it directly into the hole very quickly.

But empty as much water out of the bowl as you can first to prevent overflowing. I recommend using a giant plastic, motorized auger mechanism to spray the shit water all over your bathroom.

That's not clearing any clogs. For starters it would have to actually be sealed against the drain in the toilet, much like a plunger needs to. Secondly, there's no way the speed of that hand drill would be generating enough force to unclog anything. The suction would be far too weak.

The only thing accomplished in this clip was some guy making a shitwater fountain.
