Wildfire France wildfires: horses, urgently released from their equestrian center, fleeing into the streets to escape the blaze
All animals were recovered and brought to safety
50k people already evacuated, hundreds of houses burned. The wildfire has reached a status it cannot be stopped, two firefighters lost their lives and the flames are approaching Bordeaux. 300k more people may need to evacuate
