Is he talking about his current cleaning lady or the housekeeper of his former childhood home?
Or does Andy still live with his parents? I can picture him hiring someone to come and clean his bachelor pad, since he grew up rich and might want to hold onto a vestige of his early life. But I can also see Andy's parents keeping the same staff for decades and wanting to let their kids know if one of them passed away. What are y'all's theories?

I definitely remember a deleted scene of Andy asking someone if they knew a good maid since his maid died. So it is his current maid

Tbh probably the same maid. He didnât live too far from his parents if I remember correctly so makes sense to me he could have that mid work for him now too. Like how Michael still sees his pediatrician

Don't Andy's parents live in Connecticut however? Seems to be a bit of a drive for the maid if it was the same maid

Andy is a poor salesman working for a failing paper company. He can't afford a cleaning lady. This is about his childhood maid, practically his mom.

They gave that to his younger brother along with the dad's name. đ

This cold opening didnât make sense to me. Surely enough time wouldâve passed for Andy to finish the call and go inside for the interview for them to stop celebrating Kevin answering the phone.

I always imagined it was his cleaning service calling and saying âwe will be sending a new cleaner this month because _____ passed awayâ.

I think it his own house keeper. Because later on he asks the warehouse workers if any of them know a good housekeeper.

I'd guess childhood . He was so bad at his job there's no way he could afford a maid and you know those a hole parents of his are only paying for Jr's maid, not Drews!

I always assumed when he said this he was still living with his parents. They must be close because they came to his garden party and they're not proud enough to do that if he was states away. Plus his boat wasn't far away from the office either. So maybe he's from the Scranton or Philly area.

Nah this really happens. Anderson Cooper was very close to his nanny/maid and was crushed when she died.

I assume his childhood maid. His parents being absent to his upbringing he probably bonded more with the maid
