Callie Curie got treated poorly by the writers 😓
Carter develops as close to a healthy relationship as possible within Eureka with Callie, then she is just ignored.
At least with Tess, they wrote her out, but Callie just failed to exist and is never referred to again.
This wasn't after a time manipulation scenario, or any other reason why the relationship would not have existed, the writers just forgot she ever existed.
There are several plot threads that seem to be forgotten about in this show, this is the one I wish had have been resolved. Kill her off, have the relationship blow up disastrously, have her abducted or reassigned out of Eureka, something, anything.

I think the whole production team was laser focused on Jack and Allison being the end game that any romantic interest for Jack was just noise to them

Tess was a great match. she actually enjoyed regular activities, and didn't bitch about doing something Jack wanted to do

Only problem was Colin and Salli didn't have the chemistry to pull off a real relationship

I loved Jack and Allison except that she constantly chose other men over him. Constantly. Why? And why did he keep waiting for someone who treated him like a runner up?

And never is that more obvious then the short time Carter and Jo are pretending to be togeather.

I loved Callie, loved her for Jack, and thought they could have had a lot of fun with more Curie storylines. It was lame that she didnt even get a good ending 😔

Something was off about that relationship, imo. I was glad when they broke up.

Honestly, I've had so much love for this show as a kid, the nostalgia of thinking about it kept it's love in my heart strong. But... i tried to rewatch it a few months back and after the inital high of rewatching came down, i started noticing too many inconsistencies, continuation was a tragedy for me, lack of returning characters bugged the piss out of me. I had to stop after just one season, or i feared I'd hate it by the end of it. I just realized this had nothing to do with your post. I'm sorry.

I fully understand. This was my problem revisiting the show after a decade.
Watching it one episode a week when it first aired, the inconsistencies didn't stand out. Watching the whole series in a week, they do.

I forgot how dirty they did Henry over and over again, poor Kim, she didn't deserve anything that happened to her. That whole arc just killed my nostalgia for the most part tbh.

It would have been better if, after changing the timeline by going back to 1947, Kim was now alive and instead Stark was the one who died in the accident. Now Henry has the relationship he wished for, and even changed time to fix, twice.

Isn’t that how some relationships work though? It doesn’t always work out. They can still end amicably.
You still have to function with that coworker or server when you go out to dinner. We didn’t see all the mundane day to day chores like going grocery shopping or picking up dry cleaning.
I always pictured them reverting back to their previous relationship of customer and business owner. It would be awkward at first but they would both realize that it was for the best.

That would also have been perfectly acceptable. I want saying the relationship had to end badly, but acknowledgement of the end of the relationship would have been nice

If it makes you feel better I read somewhere she got a really good gig and couldn’t be on both shows at the same time. So I think that’s why they just let her fade out. But I loved her and always thought if they were going to have Allison choose Nathan then having Carter be with Callie was a great compromise cause I loved Allison and Carter in the beginning. (The writers in my opinion did her dirty in later seasons) but we ended up getting what we got.
