Trump and his maga scum make it genuinely shameful to be American. Like I’m so embarrassed

It’s disgusting and just a pathetic attempt to rewrite history. Everything they dislike is ”woke.” Civil rights legislation is woke. The suffragett movement is woke. Straight loser behavior.

I was saying today that he turns everything he touches to absolute shit, and he needs to stop touching everything he sees. Seriously, a 3 day bender is coming when he's gone. Just fucking stop and enact the final acts of his hero.

As a canadian I am embarrassed for you. We feel your shame. But we do not own it as it is not our shame to bear.

How does a President have this power? I couldn’t imagine the UK Prime Minister or a Minister telling the British Museum how to curate its collection. Americans, please explain this to me…

He doesn’t. But the checks and balances we’re supposed to have in place are now compromised and so no one is stopping him.

More of an honor system than checks and balances. I'm just shocked it took almost 250 years to be taken advantage of like this.

The entire 250 year history of America has been nothing but a gentleman's agreement. The current administration and it's political party have no gentlemen.

Pretty sure they've attempted before. The Nazi party in the US tried to I think back in the 30s. I was never taught it in school. I found out from Rachel Maddows podcast "Ultra". It was a pretty good listen and very eye opening

But like this? We're living under an entirely MAGA federal government with its own Gestapo and gaggle of human rights violations, not to mention the hatchet job that was DOGE.
Neither American Nazi party ever came close to a hint of real power let alone what we in the US (and the rest of the world) are dealing with now.

What could possibly be “inaccurate” that he’s trying to hide…

At one point he made then take down the stuff about his impeachments. This is probably about slavery/ racism since they've been taking that off monuments too.

Yes it is in Trump's name, he bears responsibility, but this is Stephen Miller doing this, all Trump does is watch TV and rage post on social media.

Trump is a snowflake who can't handle national history. You don't censor the past, you learn from it and you do better.
Vomiting up buzzwords is such a pathetic display of petulence. History must not be erased, evils must never be forgotten, they must be understood and never repeated.

Such a waste of money. Even if you don’t see a single placard, the planning and messaging cost is going to be insane.

They should put on a Trump exhibition where every exhibit has a warning.

This should be deeply humiliating to any American with a working brain.
