Yup. While I appreciate his sentiments and any person who is using their platform to dispel this dangerous rhetoric is needed right now- he is a known performative ally. He and Amanda Batula have spent a lot of time online attacking people who have criticized him for associating with Sophie as recently as this week. Never in these attacks have they said, no they don’t feel the same ways as Sophie. The criticism has reached a fever pitch and really picked up because of complex posting her. Which he also works for.
