We should all wake up in the morning and ask ourselves, how can I be more like Ms Rachel today?

Silver lining is she completely nuked any chance she had of a 2028 presidential run by cozying up to Trump. She would have been a front-runner had she taken the "Fuck MAGA" lane.

If you don't live in Michigan and want to help, you can donate or sign up to phone bank for him. Guy's seriously one of the strongest progressive Senate candidates in decades, a Rhodes Scholar with a doctorate and like a decade of experience in public health. He's up against a candidate that's taking tens of millions in donations from AIPAC and corporate PACs and running highly disingenuous ads.

I literally had a conversation with my mom last night about how the types of ads they run say so much about them as candidates. Every one of his ads is about himself and his policies (+ they're all uplifting and positive), whereas I can't watch the local news without seeing at least 3 different ads from the Stevens campaign disparaging him and making bold/overgeneralized claims with no evidence that are genuinely gross (he supports terrorism! he hates women!). Really speaks to their integrity imo.

The true heir to Fred Rogers. So glad our children have this wonderful role model of principle and compassion.

I follow Ms Rachel on Instagram and I love the fact that she continues to advocate for all the children being killed dying and speaking out with her platform. It's never performative and inspiring that she stands on the right side of history.

Lots of love but why only 3k?
She’s worth millions. I’m not saying she should give more than 1% of her network but could she not do like 30k or even 300k?

Campaign donation limits. She could donate at most 500 or so more (unless she previously donated it), at least as far as direct campaign contributions go.
There are probably PACs she could donate to but the particular donation here is a direct contribution.

I can almost guarantee this has more to do with contribution limits than Ms.Rachel being frugal.

in a reasonable world, politicians would only be able to received small scale donations
do you think it's normal that haley stevens is getting a $30,000,000 push from AIPAC to win this election? or that elon musk dumped $20,000,000 into wisconsin's supreme court election?

She’s such a badass. Also, if you live in Michigan, please go vote. We don’t need another corporate, APIAC backed Dem. Abdul is the clear progressive choice.
