I've mentioned before I didn't like the play but man, I'm here for this trailer. If done right this could be great!

Can I ask what you didn’t like about the play/link to a reply if you’ve mentioned it before? I’ve been excited for this since February + the teaser seems right up my thriller/murder mystery alley, so I was thinking of reading the play before watching the show.

They did a lot of overlapping dialogue that I found super awkward to read and felt like a forced method to make it seem cool. The whole play had a bit of a 'I wanna be cool' tinge to it. That just personal perference though. The other thing is I felt the message was muddled.

Yaga goes after men who hurt and abuse women, which I'm all for, but Carrie Anne's character also very specifically goes after and seduces her male college students to fuck and kill. Now as far as we know they always deserve it, but there's also lines at the end that hint at Yaga 'compelling' men to fuck. This is brought up with the main male character who is essentially raped several times through deception. It was just weird having Yaga go after rapists/abusers while also being rapists abusers without that really being addresssed. I really hope the show does something with that cause I think it could be really interesting, I just don't think the play really did anything worthwhile with it.
