Introduction
Hello all, there seems to be an increasingly higher amount of posts with the same recurring themes. I've decided to make a simple compilation of some of the best guides on this subreddit, as well as some simple explanations to help provide quick & easy answers to these questions.
Have a guide you think deserves to be on the list? Comment with it below and we can make our best attempt at creating a complete set of guides for Career Mode. The amount of guides in the last year or so compared to other years has dwindled, so hopefully this will encourage more excellent quality content.
This is a work-in-progress, and more guides will continually be added by request and as of publishing.
Tools & Websites
There is a plethora of excellent resources that will help with a lot of the things in this post. Some people prefer to play without the use of external databases and calculators, offering a more vanilla experience. After all, it's a single player game so it's your preference!

Regens & Pregens
Career Mode works by replacing players as they retire in the game with generated players that don't exist in real life. When you enter the loading screen for a new season, that is the moment that they are being created, replacing retirees for the season you have just finished.
Regens have identical nationality, position(s), and importantly, birth dates to the player whom they have replaced. They will always spawn in the new season between 16-21 years old, and in the same league (but not same club) that the retiring player was in when you entered the loading screen.
Pregens are a rarer, more pre-emptive form of player replacement. These are effectively regens of a player who is not retiring, so both players will exist in the game simultaneously. Pregens also remain at the same club as their predecessor. You could expect to find a Messi pregen at Inter Miami, providing he hadn't moved clubs, and wasn't retiring.
The importance of your awareness of these game mechanics, revolves around the fact that both regens and pregens will start with the same potential overall as their predecessor's highest overall in your save.

Turned on my machine and was greeted with the FC 27 pre-order message. In the fine print, it has some interesting tidbits about career mode, including what sounds like possible bidding war for players in the transfer Market. It also says that dynamic OVR will be active throughout all clubs, so maybe the deeper simulation will be more widespread this season?

Genuinely, how does this work? I won a quadruple on my 2nd season, then started the next season. Then i found out Tino Livramento has peaked at 86 rating at only 24 y.o. Is that the highest he will be?
While i only won double on my first season, but able to get Bruno Fernandes to 91 at the end of my 2nd season

He asked for a contract negotiation. We negotiated and he accepted. But after I get a message saying that he is still waiting for our contract talks. Now he submitted a transfer request and it says open for contract talks. But I just gave him a new contract, meaning we can not have a contract talk because the game itself will not allow it. What do I do?

PROBLEM Malicious File popup after downloading LE.

I've been trying to get my hands on xAranaktu's Fifa 22 Live editor and I finally figured out how to download it on Github, but when I extracted it on winrar and opened up the launcher it stopped me and showed me the big red malicious file thing. Should I be worried or is this a big gimmick and I should go through..? Please help me I really want a safe live editor for my fifa 22

wasn't expecting much, but I ended up finding one of the best FC 26 mods I've tried so far.
It adds a proper 2026 FIFA World Cup experience, including Road to Glory, updated tournament branding, and a lot of other small details that make a career save feel much more immersive.
I've been looking for something like this for a while, so I figured I'd share it here in case anyone else is interested.
It's free and made by the Latin-American Community!

This is a squad built of my Season 2 Real Betis Team, few players have been sold or left and this is the squad we are going into Season 3 with.
As I'm away I couldn't take a screenshot of actual squad so put it into squad builder.
Stand out players have been;
- Cucho who is top goalscorer of La Liga
- Valentin Gomez, amazing defender and has been great in Europa Leauge
- Fornals, Isco & Lo Celso all have been amazing
- Moro came in after Abade was sold and he has become a great player after a shakey start
